    Boots ?

These have a flat sole with no ridges. It really depends on what the current DL's say, just because someone has been approved with the others in the past does not automatically mean they will be approved again, as mentioned the CRL does state Flat sole with a short heel. Perhaps contact @justjoseph63 or @shashachu for clarification as they are our current DL's.
  2. Hello and welcome aboard, always best to try armor on with your undersuit, normal clothing can give a different result. When in doubt you can check the gallery sections, many pieces have little to no return edge.
  3. Great work, every little bit adds up in the end
  4. I've seen a few people how have scaled down the chest and needed a new return edge make a plug, a wooden piece cut to the curve of the chest and held it behind then use more heat and mold to it. The problem with heating ABS is that it can revert to it's natural state the more heat you use, especially when not using a mold. Using a small block of wood to hold on the other side too is a good idea to help push onto the mold Here is Christine's build she modified a few pieces so may be worth a look A couple of examples
  5. Issue with Velcro is you don't always get it on in the right spot every time, snaps or rivets you do
  6. Welcome back and good luck with the build, coming along well
  7. Happy days, nothing better than BBB's You may want to use the "direct link" option for your images, or right click and copy link then paste directly into your post Good luck with the build
  8. Once when playing laser tag having to crouch down to youngling height behind a barrier I did make sure the belt conformed to the armor, this way there is no tension on the snaps so haven't really had any other issues.
  9. Hello and welcome aboard, good luck with the research
  10. Once again congratulations trooper, superb build and applications, welcome to a very small group of FOTK EI's & Centurions, well done
  11. There are also different tension elastic available but doubling up should help. You will also need to adjust your shoulder straps on the rear, on the left it doesn't appear to be in the right position, also need them both to sit down on the back plate
  12. Appears constistantly off white/tan, only the soles though and not the actual boots, so who knows
  13. I noticed the CRL for ROTJ says BOOTS: soles/sides of the boots are white for L3 should "tan/cream" or "off-white" also be added.
  14. Wet sanding does allow the sandpaper to last a little longer and not clog as easily, a few drops of washing liquid added to the water can also help.
  15. Hello and welcome aboard
  16. Great to see you back, looking forward to seeing the progress
  17. Congratulations trooper and welcome to the EI ranks
  18. Congratulations trooper, very well deserved, welcome to the EI ranks
  19. Rivets or snaps work well, I prefer snaps so I can remove the plastic section so the belt can be washed or swapped out for ESB style.
  20. E6000 inside one side then push together, if you apply some tape to the back and wrap around you can makes sure they stay nice and flat while the glue is drying.
  21. Here is another nice helmet build
  22. Mineral spirits would definitely be a lot more gentle than acetone, usually acetone doesn't work with plastic very well and can melt. I do love the black teeth and do get asked sometimes "why does that one look different", but only a few ask
  23. Many of us use Imgur, very easy to upload then copy the "direct link" to your image straight into your post
