They can be a little narrow, I went 1/2 a size up and they fitted great but most seem to go 1 full size.

Not a Jedi Yet's first build (RS ESB)
gmrhodes13 replied to Not a Jedi Yet's topic in ESB Build Threads
I kept a lot of return edges, have very skinny arms and legs so it helps keep the armor in place, also use a little bit of foam in place to stop them flopping around -
I'm sure you can still save those ears with a little bit of tweaking and sanding, here are a couple of great threads: I'm sure you can do this, good luck

DarthBiscuit's R1TK Build (Jimmiroquai kit)

Really depends on the paint and how it dries, personally I'd leave it, totally dry it out, quick sand and see if you need more primer or glazing putty -
Post from 501st legion forum: https://www.501st.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=106862&p=1352596#p1352596 Halloo! It has been five years since our last drive for donations to pay for Legion hosting costs. Over the past five years, we have shifted our servers to the AWS (Amazon Web Services) architecture, utilizing Cloudfront CDN, RDS databasing, Route53 DNS, and AWS Firewall security, as well as regular backups and the storage thereof. We adopted a Google GSuite account to provide a more efficient email solution that also allows us to utilize an API to allow for opt-out, expanded our domain registration account with both Amazon and GoDaddy. And not least, we have taken on six detachments (FISD, IOC, MEPD, BHG, SLD and soon-to-be SP) to be hosted under the Legion account. We push an average of 650G of traffic a month between the main site, Databank, the forums, and the hosted detachment sites. Our last drive in 2015 raised funds to cover the Legion's hosting bills for the period of February 2015 through August 2020, and it was a drive for only 501st.com. It is time for us to pass the bucket again - combining the drives for the Legion and six hosted detachments. Our first goal is just to keep the lights on for one year for 501st.com and the six detachments, no contract, paid month to month. Our second goal would allow us to lock in a contract with some price savings for three years, while our third (stretch) goal would allow us to go beyond that as well as explore other services and/or enfolding more detachments (if they choose) under the AWS account. Please make sure you are logged into the forums, and then take a moment to visit the donation page, and make a small contribution to help fund the site: https://www.501st.com/donate/ There you will be able to make a donation and see how we are progressing at meeting the goals for this drive. If anyone has any questions - feel free to post here, or to email us at [email protected]. Thanks You! ~C Rhaethe Legion Webmaster NOTE this is open to members and no members alike, anyone can donate "troopers helping troopers"

All adds up in the end

These have a flat sole with no ridges. It really depends on what the current DL's say, just because someone has been approved with the others in the past does not automatically mean they will be approved again, as mentioned the CRL does state Flat sole with a short heel. Perhaps contact @justjoseph63 or @shashachu for clarification as they are our current DL's.

Not a Jedi Yet's first build (RS ESB)

Hello and welcome aboard, always best to try armor on with your undersuit, normal clothing can give a different result. When in doubt you can check the gallery sections, many pieces have little to no return edge. -
Great work, every little bit adds up in the end
-
I've seen a few people how have scaled down the chest and needed a new return edge make a plug, a wooden piece cut to the curve of the chest and held it behind then use more heat and mold to it. The problem with heating ABS is that it can revert to it's natural state the more heat you use, especially when not using a mold. Using a small block of wood to hold on the other side too is a good idea to help push onto the mold Here is Christine's build she modified a few pieces so may be worth a look A couple of examples

Lord_Potato's Walt's Trooper Factory ANH TK Build (COMPLETE)
gmrhodes13 replied to Lord_Potato's topic in ANH Build Threads
Once when playing laser tag having to crouch down to youngling height behind a barrier I did make sure the belt conformed to the armor, this way there is no tension on the snaps so haven't really had any other issues. -
Hello and welcome aboard, good luck with the research
-
There are also different tension elastic available but doubling up should help. You will also need to adjust your shoulder straps on the rear, on the left it doesn't appear to be in the right position, also need them both to sit down on the back plate
