Well tired of waiting for post to arrive, yet again the slotted screws are a no show, so I think I'll convert some. Closest we have at local hardware are slotted Phillips Apply some filler Sand and file the slot Add primer Then paint

My issue was the armor and helmet was a mash up from different era's of Star Wars, Rogue One was right before ANH and the armor was completely different. It also used pieces from The Force Awakens, way outside it's era there. Some didn't like the crisper molded details, very different to ANH. It's all about personally preference, many do like the look and we have many being built on the forums right now.

Don't give up, there are plenty around to lend advice. You could probably try to save the bottom of the thighs by adding some pieces of ABS plastic to the overtrimmed areas, then fill any gaps with ABS paste, sand and polish. Our pre approval area gives more detailed comments than just for basic approval because of our higher levels. You can contact your GML (garrison membership liaison) and check their thoughts on how your armor looks as it, they may more inclined to allow a few things. Good luck what ever you decide

No it's not Rogue One that is a different armor and helmet. The image could very well be of 501st members at an event, without more info or images it's a bit hard to tell.

Very nice. I made my sling, just using nylon webbing and added home made metal clips and plastic adjuster

Why oh why Hasbro ToyFarce reached out to Hasbro to ask them the important question: What about Halloween?? If you are going to announce figures based on a holiday right before october, you have to take into account that there is Halloween first! Hasbro let us know that a wave was in development but got canceled because there wasn’t enough time to produce the figures on time for the Halloween festivities. Maybe next year? Here are the prototype pictures that they sent us (allegedly).

I don't think it's from the movie, there is quite a lot of weathering on the helmet and armor, also the brow trim has dropped so you can see a clean area, no weathering. Here are a couple of examples, notice the coloring of the weathering. Build - purchase and assembly of armor/helmet You certainly can start a build just with purchased items, many do. You are in the ESB build thread area now so as long as you are building a ESB version you can post your build here.

Affordable Trooper Armor

At the slow stage now, little tweaks with strapping and fitment. While test fitting I managed to measure the belt so I could finally add rivets and paint them Sanded the kidney / butt plate seam, had a few small holes in the ABS paste so added a little filler, will fine sand tomorrow and add some touch up paint. Speaking of touch up paint, one thing that is really annoying me is how cream the RS armor is compared to other armor, oh and compared to the U trim Let's see if I can eye color match with some water based acrylics. Looks good to me, will leave to dry to see how sturdy it will be before applying to the rest of the trim
