TikiTechie Requesting Pre-Approval - FAC Stunt TK
gmrhodes13 replied to TikiTechie's topic in Request TK Pre-Approval
In some of your photos your kidney sides are popping out, gluing some tabs behind will help keep them behind the ab plate Examples Also note the angle some of your pieces are. There is also something showing behind the top of your left thigh A few tweaks and you should be good to go, good luck -
BlueBantha's Tall (6'2") MTK Kit Build
gmrhodes13 replied to bluebantha's topic in ANH Build Threads
From memory I think the MTK hovi's come like that, not sure how hard it will be to remove the mesh or if the inside has the "nipple". Some more references, note the rim, inside wall and inner center are white Vocoder center strip is a little high Comparisons -
TikiTechie's ANH TK Stunt trooper build
gmrhodes13 replied to TikiTechie's topic in ANH Build Threads
Looking good, for higher levels you belt could come up a touch The top of the ABS belt shall sit at or just above the bottom of the central and vertical ab button panels. A slight overlap is suggested, but not required. Also remove the excess E6000 from the end of the sniper plate, easy to remove with either a sharp scrap of ABS or thumbnail -
Some great info here Joseph sells some nice finishing kits And recently found detailed greebles I can highly recommend these files

Would like to find a new helmet/helmet kit
gmrhodes13 replied to dpb486's topic in Forum Help & Support
Anovos went out of business and was purchased by Denuo Novo. They are supplying in house items currently and seem to be operating better than Anovos did. Denuo Novo did reach out to those who had outstanding orders with Anovos and offered to supply any outstanding pre orders so you may want to reach out to them if you have an outstanding order. https://www.denuonovo.com/ -

Placement should be fine, screen suits were uneven in places especially on the fronts, some can look bowed -
My shins are killing me. Back cover strip alignment
gmrhodes13 replied to TikiTechie's topic in Tutorials, Tips and HOWTOs
There looks to be a slight bow on the shins and they are not closing properly, a hot water bath (heat gun for experienced builder) can help lay these flatter and close better. A couple of random threads may be of help -
BlueBantha's Tall (6'2") MTK Kit Build
gmrhodes13 replied to bluebantha's topic in ANH Build Threads
Looks much better. As an example and it's not a requirement just a suggestion DO's aren't that strict on this item. Note: Top ear screws should ideally be located directly below the rear of the trap. -
I have a loop of elastic in the top of the belt loop an have snaps attached and also glued behind the shins, I find the elastic better as it allows some give when bending

BlueBantha's Tall (6'2") MTK Kit Build
gmrhodes13 replied to bluebantha's topic in ANH Build Threads
It's all about fine tuning, small areas sanded at a time just to get gaps a little bit closer, can take some time. Your ears are a tad large and could be trimmed a little more, if you wanted. Also note your angle of the ears, not a requirement just noted for higher level approval This ear angle is great the other is a little over OK Over Also not sure if the bottom screw is being pulled in too tight, there appears to be some distortion behind the lower screw. To reduce the gap around the top of the ears a step is added so it brings it further inwards. -
Almost Ultimate Heavy F-11D build – T5H v.18
gmrhodes13 replied to The5thHorseman's topic in Weapons of the First Order
It has been mentioned that the heavy version was 10% bigger BUT to my knowledge there are no dimensions or any other info which can confirm this. -
TikiTechie's ANH TK Stunt trooper build
gmrhodes13 replied to TikiTechie's topic in ANH Build Threads
Looking good, a dab or two of E6000 on the drop box elastic loops can help the drop boxes stay in the right place -
Removed your other post as it wasn't really forum help related. You could reach out to the UKG to find members close to you. https://www.ukgarrison.co.uk/ Getting started section for locating armor For all else you may need

BlueBantha's Tall (6'2") MTK Kit Build
gmrhodes13 replied to bluebantha's topic in ANH Build Threads
This is pretty normal the small gaps, your ears will/should cover this area. I prefer using small bolts instead of rivets so you can adjust if needed. If you look at the website link I gave you there are plenty of examples of large gaps Also when adjusting the ears keep an eye on the angle of them, it's not a must just a suggestion DO's references: Note: Top ear screws should ideally be located directly below the rear of the trap.
