  1. Great work a few tweaks and you should breeze right through. It is hard when you can't be in two places at once to check for gaps and positions, I ended up getting a full length mirror just so I can check how I look in approval photos
  2. Congratulations trooper, EI honor gallery image updated. You have also been added to the multiple EI award recipient thread
  3. Nice work trooper, just a couple of tweaks Rotate your right thigh so it matches your shin also bring it up a little. Also right bicep could be rotated. Shoulder bells have larger gap to the chest, perhaps rotate these inwards, screen shoulder bells had a curve to them. I have my snaps further forward on my shoulder straps so they help pull in the shoulder bells after you've moved your arms Belt could come up a little, should be just under or touching last ab plate button Drop boxes should align with the end of the plastic belt section, you can see your elastic strap. Also your rivet spacing on the AB/kidney look a little unevenly spaced Right back shin not closed properly, also need to overlap from outside over the inside. Also rotate the thighs so the cover strip position matches your shins. You could also add some ABS paste or sugru to the gaps between the bottom thigh ridges Brow trim looks a little short on both sides (should be ok for basic). Tops of AB/kidney not matching. A few tweaks and you should be good to go.
  4. Looking good trooper, a few images the DO's like are also: 14. ___ Left sniper knee plate close up 15. ___ Right sniper knee plate close up 16. ___ Left thigh ammo pack rivet close up 17. ___ Right thigh ammo pack rivet close up You can double check against the EI Photo Checklist Good luck
  5. You have a lot to choose from check out the thread below Also check out some of the EIB threads as most will have info on weight and height, will give you a better idea of what will suit you
  6. Just note not sure about your sizing but Dave's Darkside Depot (AM) suit the larger trooper I can't remember if Dave's Darkside Depot makes a Hero helmet so you may want to check as there are differences in amount of teeth, ear bumps and screws A PDF on the differences between Stunt and Hero https://drive.google.com/file/d/10tEVteIreh6AHMogW010cuH_Bf8TBfU6/view Also the CRL's (costume reference library) Stunt https://databank.501st.com/databank/Costuming:TK_anh_stunt Hero https://databank.501st.com/databank/Costuming:TK_anh_hero
  7. Hello and welcome aboard, a great thread full of helpful info to get you on your way
  8. Hi trooper you may want to retake some of those photos as they appear black and white, some details just can't be made out ie; coloring tube stripes and traps, rivets/snaps, holster straps and so on. The images are also very small and low resolution which makes it hard to see details. A good guide to taking/scaling photos: Using a contrasting background is a good idea too
  9. Great news, starts feeling very real when pieces start arriving
  10. Thanks for the kind words and my pleasure, it's just a case of giving back to the community which helped me on my journey If you can just help one person then you've made a difference
  11. I've added the link to your request post
  12. Congratulations trooper and welcome to the ranks, you can request higher access here
  13. You need to add a link to your legion membership profile, have a read of the fist post in this thread
  14. Congratulations trooper and welcome to the centurion ranks
  15. Congratulations and welcome to the ranks trooper
  16. You could always try Tony's. Some images are missing so I've just DM'd him to update when he's got some free time.
  17. At the neck it looks fine, do you have any room under your cod and butt plate, if so you could bring those up a little which should narrow the gap Things can also change once you start playing with the strapping
  18. Holiday Version Black Series 2022 Yes it's getting close to that time of year again

  20. FYI you need to have your costume approved before seeking Expert Infantryman. Each costume you have needs local GML 501st base approval and be added to your membership profile before seeking higher level approval in detachments (even different versions of TK) https://www.501st.com/members/displaymemberdetails.php?userID=35506
  21. A couple of Centurion approved sniper plates for comparison
  22. Questions for tonight: #1 - is there a good method to upload photos - mine seem to be quite large format. Many use a free online image host such as Imgur, upload your photos there then copy and paste the links into your thread #2 - when I am ready to get feedback should I go directly to the other forum and post. You can post in the builds area, start a build thread there https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/forum/31-costuming-and-builds-original-trilogy-and-anthology501st-approved/ Once you are ready to contact your GML garrison membership liaison you can post images in our pre approval area to get any feedback and tips before submitting to your GML https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/forum/193-request-tk-pre-approval/
