  1. We are limited as to what reference were available from back then, not like these days, I guess someone believed the other handplate was a right one being a right handed glove, who knows, without further references we may never know.
  2. I have a PDF version here if anyone would like a copy
  3. Hopefully you can get in to the kit soon
  4. Looking good Chris, a really nice build. One thing some of your photos look a little out of focus, your GML may require some clearer ones to check find detail, or he/she may not Also (and especially for Expert Infantry action photo) try to use a contrasting background, a sheet, tarpaulin or different colored wall, makes editing your images a lot easier and your GWL will thank you Good luck with approval, I doubt you will need it though.
  5. Some additional info and versions of the space pack Different versions of the space pack exist, there was a poll in 2010 in regards to the earlier design and what versions it would be added too. CRL had been updated a few times to now have the @crookknights Hot Toys pack version. Poll which packs which CRL's 2010 Figure 1 Legacy Collection Movie Hand plates on wrong hands, if he was the only space trooper then it's canon First approved movie pack member John Danter Figure two John's updated pack. Figure Hot Toys 2 ear screws, 3 bumps on ear, 4 rivets on belt holster Crookknights Space Pack Build I'll have to do another big gun build at some stage, double sights too, must be for if you are left or right handed From one of the behind the scenes groups. Some interesting info
  6. There is a Phasma Facebook group that may have some more info for you, not that many builds here on the forum unfortunately https://www.facebook.com/groups/1654472361474254
  7. Very nice, with the one I made I added screws and slotted sections to the connectors so you could rotate but then lock them in place.
  8. I would suggest reaching out to a build that doesn't supply ABS kits or perhaps someone with 3D files, I doubt anyone would have them spare. List here
  9. Hello and welcome aboard, good luck with the research
  10. I've heard a few people say the KB helmets need a lot of work to clean them up, bondo (auto filler) is usually the quickest solution to filling lines or gaps. Reference gallery when ever in doubt
  11. Looking forward to seeing the build progress, good luck trooper. Some great links to tutorials and other tips (if needed )
  12. Yes I had a "what tha" moment when I saw the end price. "What's it worth" well pretty much what ever someone is prepared to pay, you just need to find the right buyer, amazing it sold for so much more than the other kits. It's good to at least see the wording mentioned that it was a 501st members and not one of the specific production armor sets. It would be interesting to hear Disney's take on this, legion members aren't able to make any profit on merchandise after all.
  13. Hello and welcome aboard, a great way to find some info on the different kits is take a look in the RO build sections Looking forward to seeing a build thread from you soon
  14. And what I see. Could also be brower you are using. Hopefully Caleb will use Imgur or another free image host and swap them out.
  15. I wouldn't trim anymore off until you have your legs and cod attached, to me your ab plate looks a little high which may be the issue, best to try with everything else on to check for position and gaps. Nice work getting those wings to come in
  16. Weird they are showing for me. Investigation and appears the images have been cross posted from RPF, there is a software issue with posts form RPF and our forum, links are also a problem. I would advise to use a free online image host such like Imgur for hosting your photos and there would then be no issues with the images not showing for everyone Great how to here
  17. Congratulations and welcome to the ranks trooper, looking forward to seeing that background in your Expert Infantry application
  18. Great work trooper, glad to hear you've been out there trooping, you may find you may have to make a few adjustments for comfort or mobility, many of us do. You've left a very nice thread for others to follow
  19. Jim's kits are flexible fiberglass, FOTK, Phasma, he does make other fiberglass costumes as well. They are a little heavier than ABS plastic but detail can be better. I would not say they are easier to assemble, you still have all the strapping to do. Both ABS and Fiberglass need sanding, filling and painting. Perhaps reach out to some suppliers and check on pricing and shipping, the latter has risen quite considerably recently.
