  1. Armor looks nice! Very clean build. However, your belt corners need to be cut at 45 degree angles. Quick fix though!
  2. The armor doesn't look too bad, although it is easier to tell if you have better quality pictures. Perhaps you have a friend or colleague that has a camera you can borrow? Also, your thigh ammo belt should be rounded off. It appears that yours is simply cut at an angle. You could also raise your drop boxes a bit, although that one will not keep you from EIB. Finally, the "[AP]" is something that will be put in the title after you're approved along with the number that corresponds to your approval. Applicants need not put that in themselves.
  3. Helmet aside, I agree with Mathias. The thighs could come in a little. I like to see good fitting thighs, as hard as it is to get them perfect, they can look better. I would also suggest taking the TD clips down some. They stick out below the belt line quite far. The "tail" on the butt plat could also be tucked in better. Sorry to get nit picky, that stuff just stood out and I think would add to the overall appearance. But what do you think Fernando? Fernando...? *cricket, cricket*
  4. what's going on with your image link? It says "fake url." That doesn't sound legit. A second to what Vern said though. RT mod can help you.
  5. Beautiful armor and stunning photo quality! Excellent work here, very clean and professional!
  6. Congratulations sir! Easy approval!
  7. Wow your armor looks awesome! Although, it looks like you have actually gained weight...
  8. Same here. Monkeys. Weirdest thing I ever saw.
  9. I noticed over on MEPD that when you post something it shows your full profile photo on the left side instead of just the cropped version of it. I really like the way it looks and I would love to see that on Whitearmor since this is my home as a TK. Would it be possible for you tech guys to make it like this? Granted that other people share in my opinion of course... What do you all think?
  10. Man, I wish I could make it! Definetly looks like the ultimate troop! I know you'll have a great time and make sure you hit me up with pictures afterwards!
  11. I actually did mine in the "Paint" program. I had no idea how to do anything with photos and I didn't know about that banner website. Speaking of which...
  12. I wholeheartedly agree. It definetly makes you remember what's important though. At least we still have the opportunity to wear armor, and enjoy our families. Now for so many, someone cut their time unecessarily short for reasons that I don't know if anyone can explain. I believe it may become an issue considering people will tend to be afraid of someone in a costume with a gun because of recent events. I wish someone could make sense to me why anyone would need to go into public and kill people they don't even know. Will it make trooping more difficult? Maybe. But the most important thing to me right now is that justice is served swiftly and ruthlessly.
  13. IMHO I think you should go ahead and replace it. The clips should be 1" wide, and those look a little smaller. Also, this TD has the rounded button on the top right of the white panel, and the attachment points for the clips protrude from the TD. TK 4702 makes superb kits for not too much money. You may consider this route.
  14. NEGATIVE on both of those. The second one is fiberglass which is See this thread for proper manufacturers: http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=11538 A good rule of thumb is to just avoid ebay all together.
  15. I did mine in 2 weeks. I took a week of leave to work on it once I recieved it, so I had 7 days of no responisbility other than white plastic. Good thing there is no "reason for taking leave" block on the request forms.
  16. Congratulations, your armor looks great!
  17. I am very interested in seeing this completed, but I tend to agree. I think the amount of work and money into this will far surpass buying a kit from a manufacturer on these forus, many of which have options for less than $1000. However, to each their own, and so I wish you luck.
  18. Everybody looks great, Julie! Looks like it was a great event. I especially like the traditional Captain America! But that Vader...
  19. Too right! We are going to be getting her a new helmet kit ASAP, because that EFX is large. My MTK looks better on her, but she can't have it. * In Randy's voice from A Christmas Story:* "That's Miiinnee!"
  20. We decided to go the route without the pack because it already looks huge on the regular sandies, so I have a feeling it would dwarf her to the point where it would look silly. Thanks for the compliments guys.
  21. Finally (sorta) finished my wifes TD. We retrofitted my old fx kit into a sandtrooper kit for her. Bear with me, as she is 5 foot and 100lbs, so getting her into armor has been a serious challenge. Here she is though- 95% complete! Note: She is wearing my TK boots because we are still waiting on them to get her size. This is pretty much the only thing holding her back from going for 501st approval right now. They said any day now... ::Insert joke here:: YES she IS a little short for a Stormtrooper!
  22. That would be a crapton of hand painting! If that's what you want to do though, the more power to you. As long as it still is the correct color scheme per the CRL.
  23. That's legit! Too bad I don't paper or a printer big enough to print it out! BTW I spend alot of time on failblog too. Lots of laughs there.
  24. Never seen a place on the internet before where people I have never even met feel like my family. Star Wars is my life persay, and you guys are all my brothers and sisters in it. The FISD has given me a place to share my ideas, opinions, get help, and show off my armor, and I couln't be more proud or grateful to be apart. I know the FISD will only grow from here.
  25. Alot of good advice here guys. And I will take everyone's into consideration before I do anything. Even the ladies
