  1. Has anyone shown this guy the pic of the real ones that was posted on the previous page? Right there is proof he didnt cast them from an original set. It looks pretty obvious to me these were cast from Marks. What a loser.
  2. Awesome job man! ...KW helmet? Im seriously considering an animated clone. I like the look of that helemt over the other more "short" looking helmets.
  3. NICE! Marty always does awesome work! One day i will be doing one of these.
  4. i added a shim on the ab plate and made it seamless. and then added the rivets where they would normally go. that seemed to work well
  5. I agree with stormtrooperguy 100% those angles arent intentional. Especially after what Mason said. This is a cool suit...here we go again....
  6. Ya had to post this didnt ya....i really like this! *sigh*... another costume on the horizon.....lol
  7. They should have bumps on the grey areas like Fett4real stated...BUT for basic 501st what you have there is fine. Thats a nice bucket
  8. Yea we had some downed trees and power outages in LI and NYC. lower manhattan was flooded a bit as well. By me in brooklyn...it was just like a heavy thunderstorm really without the thunder. i stayed up till 6AM waiting for it to hit...then i got so tired i went to sleep...i woke up at 8am to sunny skies and a nice breeze outside. Wasnt much of anything where i was.
  9. hmm...i dunno how well anti-persp works on hands...but hey that may help..at the least your hands will smell nice lol. Yea i did it initially just cuz i didnt want to rip the gloves taking them off cuz they would get stuck on my hand. In advertantly i noticed my hands were a bit dryer, so its worth a shot!
  10. Ha go figure! Glad ya got it sorted out, and glad i could help!
  11. That link worked! I then went to the main boards and tried to get to it normally, and this time it worked and i can see the topic! what was that all about? lol
  12. Try wearing light weight cotton gloves under the rubber ones. that helps me remove the gloves and helps control the moisture a bit. Maybe that would help.
  13. nope. Still the same. Still cant see the centurion certificate thread at all. Only "request centurion status".
  14. roger...will do...stand by...
  15. Nope still doesnt work. I also noticed that the only subforum i can see in the centurion forum is to request centurion status. I dont even see a thread for the certificate. Not that i need it,cuz i got it already (thanks Mason!) but i wonder if theres anything else i may not be seeing or able to see in the future
  16. I dont have one, but if your not going for any kind of status, id leave it. they are blue and i think they are close to the correct color. Id say try acetone, or maybe nail polish remover, as its weaker acetone...but even the polish remover may damage the finish, so id test it somewhere not seen on the helmet to see if it damages the plastic. Ive used this method before to take logo is and such off of stuff. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesnt. But the safest way i think would be to just leave it be.
  17. So while looking at the board and scrolling down to the "FISD Centurion Program" section...it shows the last thread posted is the centurion certificate, but when i click on that it says- An Error Occurred Sorry, an error occurred. If you are unsure on how to use a feature, or don't know why you got this error message, try looking through the help files for more information. 18. This was the first detachment i was a part of, and i must say, i love it here, and have learned ALOT here from the various knowledgeable members...from armor types and plastic types, to build styles and modifications. There is so much knowledge here its crazy! I am proud to be a member of the FISD! I never would have achieved Centurion status with my ESB build without all of you here! buckets off to all!
  19. Yea man, seems like a fun one. Since ill have all the Jason Voorhees zombie parts, it will work out well id think. Ill just slowly aquire damaged TK parts.
  20. Hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!NICE!
  21. So as you may be able to tell from my screen name, my other fave movie franchise is friday the 13th. I am in the process of building a Part 7 (the new blood) movie quality costume. Thats the one with the broken mask ripped up clothes and exposed ribbs and spine......and i started thinking....maybe i could use some of the latex parts for a death trooper aswell! A big chunk of armor missing on the chest and seeing exposed ribs n such would probably look crazy! I also have leg and hand/arm pieces. I think they could work really well doubling for a deathtrooper. Geez i hate how mymind works...this would be so badd-az .i think i may just have to do it lol.
  22. Looks like it could be an older RT-mod...but not 100% on that. Out of the ones you mentioned, the TE, well a TE2 is the largest. AP and ATA are about the same size, and definately signifigantly smaller than the FX. I have had an AP and currently own an ATA and TE2. TE2 id the largest ive had. (never owned an FX) hope that helped somewhat lol
