2. Try your best to use 20mm on the front of the thighs. You can give yourself a bit more room if you gap it, remember that it'll be covered on the front with a cover strip. This will expose a bit more ridge on each side but a little is still fine. If you need more room in the back, you can use a larger cover strip than the 25mm. You might even have to shim if you need a LOT more room.
3. Glad to see you left yourself the extra meat to use the OG strapping method. You're doing great
4. Being that you're from San Francisco, I know that you're in good hands if you need help locally. Congrats on getting your kit!
5. Finally getting over this virus I had for a week

6. Cut and glue first. Get all your pieces ready so you can have time to make the million adjustments for strapping.
7. You don't taper the cover strip. You want a little room but not a lot. If there's more than enough to fit your hand w/ glove through, add some foam. Your current setup looks a little tight. On mine I had to gap the rear a little and cover it with a 5/8" cover strip and it's still a tight fit with my gloves that have the attached hand plates.
8. Really liking AP! Congrats on BBB day
9. Ugh, dude it's horrible. Feels like I've swallowed glass. I hardly ever get sick and when I do I turn into a big old baby and my wife makes fun of me. Cool to see Anovos and new AP finally shipping.
10. Nothing that can't be fixed easily. Hand painting would make it really pop
11. Remember that both the ab and kidney got extended. More than likely, the ab extension will be enough so you can trim the kidney to original size.

Congrats getting your BBB soon, Aaron. I've been on ghost status this past week. My mom and sister visited for a few days and then I've been sick as a dog. Still nursing a sore throat. Looking forward to seeing you slinging some ABS
12. You won't really be able to know until you try it on. There will probably be some adjustments that need to be made though.
13. Your new boots should fit nicely under your shins. May want to use velcro to keep them in place. You're definitely tall enough where putting your thigh ammo pack level won't effect mobility.
14. Just follow some of the pinned build threads for inspiration and you should be fine. Have a great weekend trimming all the excess flashing!
15. There's 4 other members in my garrison that live within a 45 radius. The 50+ other members in my garrison are mostly in Rochester which is about 3 hours away.
16. Man, this would be really bad if you weren't located in the same country as them.
17. I am prior enlisted and from what I can tell, you need to talk to your post CID and your brigade legal. Don't think they can take your keys like that or punish you with UCMJ action without proof first. So glad I have my DD-214
18. I understand what you're saying. I forgot that you also added to the ab piece. Would be very easy to leave the ab and take away from the kidney.
19. About spit out my morning coffee on this one! I have Evilboy but want to get Echo's in addition. Will probably use Evilboy's as an exhaust configuration kind of like how ukswrath's setup is.
20. Yeah don't get too hung up on the thigh ammo pack. I'm short so I keep mine flipped up more than straight. Anything that helps!
21. Great work! My only issue is if you need the extra space for the kidney, why have the long notch? Would have preferred to have the notch not cut out so it can be made to 22mm x 22mm after trimming is done if needed. Either way, I like everything else and one day when Mrs. Airborne allows it, I'll be building a TK and have this kit at the top of my want list.
22. I'm a bit of an introvert IRL if I'm not comfortable and I volunteered to help run my Garrison's table at a Hockey Night troop. It was pretty awkward at first but I got to meet a few members and gain experience. I was very jealous of the guys in armor though. A couple weeks later I finally got approved. Just waiting to troop in March at our next local big event. Definitely meet your local garrison members and get your name out there. Volunteer, go to build parties, and make new friends. I'm not sure how old you are but I'm almost 30 and live in a new state and it's incredibly hard for me to meet new people. So glad I'm a part of this great organization now! Plus it gives me an excuse to have bro time away from the wife and kids
23. I think your ear gap looks fine, just clean it up with some light sanding. You'll want to get the correct size screws as that one is way too large. Trooperbay.com has all the bucket parts and is located in southern CA.
