  1. Hi Nick, you don't need to amend the e11 pic above. Leave showing cap upside down. The comments reflect a request to make a change. The further post shows the amendment and the post continuity is kept.
  2. Hi Nick This is another great example of an EIB application. Good form fitted Armour. Good attention to detail. I guess you just need to correct that E11 end cap and repost a new pic. Nice detailing on your scope and henglester. Well done trooper. This should be an easy pass.
  3. Hi Steffan, your EIB application appears to be, all up to the correct spec in all areas. I have no corrective comments to give and think that this ought to be a simple pass. Good luck Trooper. Looks like you will be EIB trooper number 300
  4. You haven't mentioned your helmet brand. The answer can be different depending on manufacturer. Some brands have different inner forehead heights. The brow will sit depending on how you join the front and back Cap Halts together, this is before you attach the ears. The ear screws should not be used just to hold the front and backs halves together, but rather to Just attach the ears to the helmet.
  5. This is a nice clean EIB application. Nice form fitted Armour. Well Done. I can't see any faults. (Unusual scope colour only, as all brass) Well done trooper
  6. I've had to reword this post as I originally wrote it based on your first picture. Your original post and picture looked fine and was better than the screen used suits. I would have left it with the plastic behind. You didn't have to fill it with ABS paste. You had the choice to leave it as it or to fill it. Now you have filled it, this needs work to remove all the excess ABS, and it hasn't really filled the seam. It is possible with ABS paste to fill the whole seam. Then sand it down with finer and finer paper then a plastic polish to make it flush and seamless. What look are you trying to achieve?
  7. Nice detailed tutorial mate! Well done
  8. I love hand painting Stormtrooper helmets
  9. This pic show the ab belt narrowing to meet the canvas belt.
  10. This is a nice step by step tutorial. The rivet should however be punched lower down into the belt and holster loops as per this pic. The ANH screen used rivet was a large pop rivet with a hole in.
  11. You could try making the straps between your back plate and chest plate 1 inch longer then. This will lower your back plate, Then the rear kidney will go down, Then the butt plate would go down. All without creating a backplate to kidney plate gap. However it would also look ok to have an inch gap between the bottom of your back plate and kidney plate. Alternatively. You could add 1cm or so to each separate strap and thus lower your rear kidney without any significant gap showing by spreading the stretch. Do you get me?
  12. Check if it is long enough so it can come down at the back. Are you sure that you want to change it without a second opinion?
  13. Ok wait for the DO to comment. I think the canvas belt should be around 75mm or 2.5" to match you're ab belt. You can't see the ab belt narrowing to the canvas belt. 87mm seems a bit wide on there.
  14. What's the distance between the corner cuts of your ab belt? Is it 75mm? Aside from the width of your belt. Is it riding up at the back because it is short in length?
  15. Are your left hand side ab kidney split rivets functional or there for decoration? If the rivets were part of your torso clamshell then they would line up. If they lined up, then your butt plate would sit lower. I can't see how the ab kidney could possibly be connected with that much of a difference in height.
  16. To me, it only looks like your canvas belt needs an adjustment. The rest looks good. Your canvas belt should be narrower than the main ammo belt. I was also wondering why it was riding up so high on your back? It should be closer to your but plate. By bringing the belt down lower at the rear would also fix how your holster is sitting. It's currently at an odd angle due to the back being up so high. I suspect that these are easy adjustments for you. Good luck trooper.
  17. Small progress update. I'm getting close to a full dress rehearsal soon. I got some uk kids size 1 Chelsea boots, as such And have so far had 3 coats of the white shoe dye on the leather, and one coat of whitener on the elastics. As you can see, I also touched up a few scuffs on my daughters white roller skates. This armour building leaves you with handy stuff in the house
  18. I love being able to holster and de holster my blaster on troops at will. I've also holstered it for tug of war rope pulls Running and chasing kids For holding other things.. And A good trooper needs to be prepared for whatever missions are presented to them
  19. No one has commented or mentioned the EFX or SDS helmets as asked for in the first post, therefore here is my reply about them. The EFX is an idealised symmetrical helmet, that needs many modifications to clear with the 501st. Therefore avoid for trooping. The SDS is not very accurate. The maker has not made it from original moulds. To save time and Money the ear bumps and vocoder are separate inaccurate pieces glued on over areas with no detail. I was so ashamed of the build and SDS history, I got rid of mine. Therefore, also to avoid
  20. This (armour and helmet) application is uber accurate, it looks like a set straight off the ANH movie. Well done.
  21. Well done Si. I thought you were an easy pass. Now put your name down on the May Legoland reserves so I can troop with you. I can't do the Telford one that you've signed up for as your induction
