  1. You Tube We met a Model and Actress at a recent show and she was good enough to create this promotional video for us. Good Times! Sci Fi Actress Virginia Hey VH site http://virginiahey.com/category/virginias-blogs/ Facebook http://www.facebook.com/virginia.hey.official You Tube
  2. UKG troop parade pics A variety of types Jeremy Bullock Parades with the UKG
  3. The UKG had our Annual Festive Ball evening last night. We then proceeded to Troop at the Winter MEM Show at the Birmingham NEC. Here are a few pics from our trooping exploits today.
  4. Excellent. I can so see that you changed from overlapped joints to butt n coverstrips.
  5. Yep. Just below the AB buttons or slightly overlapping is good.
  6. That's what I do. I can't imagine this detail however is regulated. I do it like this as I am right handed. I hold the belt still with my left, Then pull it tight with my right to overlap the still left bit as you have described.
  7. If your at the UKG ball on Saturday or trooping MEM Sunday, I'll look out for you.
  8. Hi Dean You need to find a way to get comfortable with the cod connected. A Ukg co-ordinator running a troop wouldn't let you out like that. You can put padding in the cod for example. I thought it was a Darman Holster, his seem to be the overly long ones.
  9. Looking good there Dean. I don't see anything that would effect your EIB application. As already mentioned, your butt plate to crotch strap needs shortening. Also maybe that holster could be shortened by trimming the excess off below the holstered blasters muzzle.. What make of holster is it please?
  10. Looking good Dan, the ammo belt curve change has made a nice big visual impact.
  11. I knew it could be recovered. Yep that looks good to me, I don't think that you need to move the rivet, that's also in proportion. If you like you can wait for a few more comments The curve looks loads better like that.
  12. Where did your nudge up pics go? They had good close ups of the ammo curve in. I reckon you may be able to mid what you have there. Put pencil lines over what you have. The excess flashing under the bottom of the ammo pack could come off. You can trim the end closer to the rivet, the draw on a rounder curve. Put the pencil lines on, and lets see what you have there to work with..
  13. Hi Rezza, That nudge up looks better and will give your knee more clearance when walking. Holster the weapon, and trim the excess below the muzzle, that would raise the holster length. That elastic belt needs to be swapped out for a more substantial canvas belt for centurion. Are you also considering changing that thigh ammo curve? Mathias and Mr TM posted very recently on how to get a better curve there using a can curve to follow.
  14. This is a very good EIB submission. I think you will sail through. Nicely form fitted. For Centurion I'd look at these areas. Holster length, it extends beyond your thigh length. Your canvas belt, the extra square in it where the holster is attached. Thigh ammo pack curve. I would also nudge the thigh ammo pack upward at your knee area. Good luck Reza.
  15. Congrats Trooper. Mathias has given you a nice short list of mods to go for Centurion so I'd encourage you to go for it!
  16. Hi Nate, The overall look on you is fantastic. It fits well and you look the part.
  17. Hi Kaa, I've just realised that your UKG. Go the UKG method! Once you start trooping you will love it and will wish to attend loads of troops and will have to think about transporting your armour around. I used to used Chicago screws and you have to unscrew then and screw them up through frayed canvas each time you wish to remove the holster for packing. Go with the snap popper system that I've showed you, it's what we all do. It is strong enough to keep a holstered weapon and for you to run with it! The same story applies, for you to be able to flat pack your armour for regular transport to events. Ie, bars and bolts armour strapping is not practical for regular trooping. A permanent clam shell between AB panel and kidney panel is also impractical. I'm advising you as a potential UKG trooper to stick with all aspects of UKG strapping that you will be advised upon on the UKG site. I've had a few FISD members here, mock what I say about constructing armour with transportation of it to be taken into consideration. A lot of the UKG top armourers stopped posting and advising here about 2 years ago and the FISD and UKG went off in different directions. I'm helping or trying to bridge the UKG / FISD divide again.
