  1. Hi KuperTrooper, Look at this Bilhag diagram The top method is best for attaching the holster to your belt. You will have an accurate rivet on the outside. And a snap on the inside of the belt. Outside belt rivet pic Inside belt pic showing rivet holding snap You then attach the female snap in the normal way to the holster arms and snap them to the belt when required.
  2. You can use black rubber washing up gloves. They are near enough identical and made for the smaller hands that often do the washing up and cleaning around a home Available at most supermarkets. A lot of the UKG troopers use these very cheap ASDA supermarket gloves approx £3
  3. Well Arthur, If your only after basic approval, then by all means submit your clearance pictures to your local GML. You will probably pass. I'm not used to seeing people come here with low standards. Most people are aiming now for EIB or Centurion build standards. I am surprised that you have opted for RS armour and have low standards. Your undersuit is too baggy, The armour is not form fitted. The thighs are too big for you. You have used un-necessary large cover strips for your leg cover strips. Drop boxes need to be further apart. There are more issues but ill stop there. If this was FX armour then, no one would expect as much from you, but this is RS armour! Good luck with your decision on how to proceed.
  4. Please post up all your pics in full size.
  5. Welcome to the FISD Scroggings. When your ready, please post up some pictures of you in your new Armour. We will pass critique and offer suggestions of how to improve it if required. You are correct that we try to discourage eBay Armour, you know that we promote a good looking accurate build, but at the end of the day, it looks like you want to be a Stormtrooper and that you want to help out on the 501st.
  6. Your armour is nearly there actually. The size and fit looks good on you. You do have to tweak and adjust it to fit you however. As mentioned earlier up in the posts, your shins were not on properly. They should go over your boot tops and therefore they will drop down about 2 inches to give you ealing leg room. you are also able to remove some plastic from the rear top of the shins, and remove some plastic from the lower rear bottoms of your thighs. This will aid your movement. I can run and kneel down in my Armour. It sounds like RS have assembled your Armour using their normal assembly method. You can adjust this to suit you, no worries. Your crotch strap is undone in at least one of your pictures. You can either lengthen this strap. Or put foam in the crotch section, or trim carefully around the crotch piece to make it fit you you better. All these tweaks are normal adjustment to be made. What's your height and weight please?
  7. This bigger picture is much better. It's how all your pictures should be. In order to pass feedback, can I ask you at what level? Basic? EIB? Or Centurion? We don't want to go over the top with comments and suggestions for aiming high if your not interested in that.
  8. Hi Arthur, If you would like any help or comments, can we trouble you post up the proper sized pictures rather than miniatures please? I sincerely hope that you have enjoyed your RS build... ... as you haven't finished yet. The first impressions are not too good, but if your prepared to make some changes then I'm sure that we can get this great RS armour looking right on you. What is your height and weight?
  9. I would not cut them to that red line! Whilst they are taped up. Can you show a pic of them on your Arm? The flat bits look too wide at present. Are you form fitting the armour parts to fit your body shape?
  10. I hope your building a measuring the armour to fit you? Those forearms seem to have all of the NE bigger trooper excess plastic on at the seam joins. The shape of the forearms are looking very square and very out of shape. What width cover strip are you planning to use on your biceps and forearms? I ask now at the early stage for you to consider this, otherwise they are going to end up looking awful.
  11. Hi there, For EIB You need to address the rear closure of both of your shins. They close facing outwards, rather than inwards. This is a relatively simple fix. The following are suggestions, it would look nicer to remove the excess Velcro from the back of your canvas belt where it meets your TD. Your grey helmet frown appears to have been painted overly wide in the final tapers. Can you show picture evidence that your shoulder bells have bicep straps.? You appear to be heading in the direction of a Centurion application as you have many of the extra requirements, however ... Is that overlap construction on your thigh fronts?
  12. I'm glad people can have and share their own opinions. I hate the old AM idealized shoulder bells.
  13. Who is the maker of these bells? Are they the new AM bells aka NE? These bells look far better than bulky fat symmetrical bells. Having the point is also nicer than bells that just go straight down.
  14. I wouldn't glue fresh e6000 onto old. Old E6000 can be rubbed, scraped and sanded off. It's a great glue to work with, and easy to remove any excess glue.
  15. Hi Eric, Good for what may I ask? ANH TK Stormtrooper boots? They look fine for basic clearance. We need better pics from the side and back regarding EIB and Centurion, hence the question above. I suspect that once they are dyed white, they would hit the EIB approval, but everyone reserves the right to comment openly without good clear photos. They are a good price though for leather jodphur boots.
  16. Acknowledged.
  17. Thanks Billy. It was the magazine barrels on the rifles of the background troopers that threw me.
  18. I don't recognize all 3 of the guns from either of the original trilogy films.
  19. Congratulations Eric. Well done.
