  1. Yeah that exchange about the TD wasn't confusing at all -Eric
  2. Diaz: You may want to try going directly to the SoCal Garrison Forums: http://www.southerncaliforniagarrison.com/forums/ If you still can't get in that way I would email the Garrison Webmaster. I'll PM you his contact information. -Eric
  3. Whew. I'm so glad. I'm actually right kneed. -Eric
  4. FISD is looking for a graphic designer to help out with a couple small projects. We're looking for someone who has a good eye for design and/or does design for a living not just a photoshop jockey (of which we have many) If that's your bag (baby) send me a PM. Thanks, -Eric
  5. Ok good. I just checked and TKID is not a user editable item. If it was a lot of my database work would be for nothing If you want your TKID in your profile and access to the 501st only areas... go here and request access: http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/16-501st-trooper-status-requests-include-link-to-your-501st-profile-in-your-request/ -Eric
  6. I thought that regular members cannot enter their own TKID and that our membership officer is the one who does it. Is that still true? -Eric
  7. There's a new book out called "How Star Wars Conquered the Universe" by Chris Taylor. I haven't read it yet but it is next on my list. Here are two related links. Plastic Spacemen! How the 501st Legion Conquered Star Wars - which is an excerpt from the book that covers the founding of the 501st. The Star Wars Devotion Is Strong With This One - the Bounty Hunter's Guild Detachment Leader, New England Garrison's very own Bob "WebChief" Gouveia was interviewed on New Hampshire public radio today (Click the second audio link in the page for Bob's interview) -Eric
  8. Link to stencils fixed -Eric
  9. FYI The majority of the EP7 TK discussion is here: http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/27323-stormtrooper-in-episode-vii/ -Eric
  10. FYI The majority of the EP7 TK discussion is here: http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/27323-stormtrooper-in-episode-vii/ -Eric
  11. I sure wish I knew. We know about it but not quite sure what is causing it. SLD, IOC, SLD and FISD (and pac501.net) are all effected. -Eric
  12. It's back now -Eric
  13. The site is super down. I'm working with the hosting provider to figure out why. -Eric
  14. Ladyinwhite gave me an idea at Fanexpo to put a pouch inside your holster. I picked this pouch up from West Marine the other day to either stuff in my holster or to wear on my Vader belt under my cape. -Eric
  15. I'm not a fan of the seam. I prefer the clean look of something a little more like the screen used ones. They're also not approvable for centurion if that's a thing you're into. http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/11412-tkboots-vs-caboots/ -Eric Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Congrats Tim! That was easy -Eric
  17. I'm not sure what it means that I speak Waltese. -Eric
  18. Hmmm. To me it looks like your ab plate can go up more which would make more room for your thighs to come up so they're not getting caught on the sniper knee. The only issue with that is then lining up your ab and kidney... and it might bring your butt plate up too high. When is your first troop? Feel free to hop Orient ferry and come up to Providence for Rhode Island Comicon Nov 1/2 -Eric
  19. I think Walt is asking about the material Hyperfirm uses to cast his blasters. If I'm not mistaken I think the guy keeps it a pretty good secret. -Eric
  20. We long removed the Centurion requirement that the boots be scuffed. Our thinking is that as long as the boots match the condition of the armor, you're good to go. -Eric Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. He kinda sucks with communication. I think mine took about a month to arrived. It did so without word from Chris. Darman makes a nicer neck seal, even though I love my TK409 quite a bite. -Eric
  22. I see you saw the most recent boot post with a spray on application that looks super badass. Here are 3 boot painting threads using angelus leather dye: http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/27114-dyeing-black-boots-white/ http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/24897-painting-my-loake-boots-white/ http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/24775-painting-my-black-chelsea-boots-white/ (Soren's is my favorite thread) -Eric
  23. Ok... so... HWT, Concept, and TKC are all you have left for EIB out of the 10 costumes in or detachment. That shouldn't be a problem for you at all. -Eric
  24. I've never used one but I think people have had some luck with them. If you click on the gear next to the search box for advance search then enter "throat" but change "Search title and content" to "only search titles" you'll find posts about throat mics. -Eric
