  1. I'm glad its not just me. The past couple of days there seem to be outages.
  2. Congrats pal! I built my armor and this allowed me the pride of a self-built kit and making it a part of myself. If we can help you out, let us know.
  3. I echo what Dave has said. I had to trim my thighs so I could bend my knees properly and most of the trimming was done at the top.
  4. Congrats!! Its always exciting to get that box. Your trimming looks fine so far. Obviously, you still have a little ways to go, but your work looks good.
  5. Very nice work! Seeing all those clamps makes we want to start another kit!
  6. Nice article pal! Troop til the end!
  7. Very nice armor. The sniper plate issue is common, but easily fixed. Congrats!
  8. Welcome back David! You'll be trooping in no time!
  9. That is a beauty. Nice work!
  10. I really like my Hyperfirm E-11 and it has been fantastic for trooping.
  11. Nice! You must have a lot of knowledge working with electronics. That is some serious engineering there.
  12. I do it almost the same way as Joseph. The only difference is I put my boots on and then put my shins on. I have used Pencaps thigh garter system since day 1.
  13. Hey Brian! Your armor is looking good. I don't see any glaring issues. You might want to show your screws on the Thermal Detonator. Good luck!
  14. Looking good so far. The only thing I did differently was to cut my strips to fit and rounding off the edges before installing them, but it a small matter. Nice work.
  15. Looking fantastic! Your armor is well assembled. You might want to add a photo of you TD screws (unless I missed it).
  16. Incredible! I would love to see photos, myself.
  17. Welcome aboard Scott. We can help, but images would insure we give you the best guidance possible.
  18. I used Plasti-dip and its has no smell after about 24 hours. I did use ventilation and breathing protection when using it because it is potent stuff, but a day later and nothing.
  19. Nice! I look forward to watching your build. Congrats!
  20. Welcome Daniel! You are doing all the right things. Research is important and putting in some time as a handler is a great way to see what it takes. Good luck with your build and ask questions if you have them.
