Good flick. However I feel its just as forgetable as any other. If only... Hollywood could get a new story... Pocahontas in space. Original. So many "borrowed themes". The Lead military guy looked like Small soldiers, the main company guy like Zorg. Weaver was a surprize, however the loaders just looked like alien. The choppers like Halo. Chick from fast and Furious still doing the same thing. The Matrix hookups, the chosen one theme. Chief dies, outsider helps... Last Samurai sands Kimonos. Oh and to top it... was that a Celian Deon song at the end? Effects were stunning. I forgot it was an animated movie as well. The plot is what you should pay for. I just am glad base movies are 3.00. Better than Star Wars? No. Was Star Wars the best of all movies? Nope, not in a long shot. However it is at least original... flollows a theme, but original. Best movie of the year? Nope again. Star Trek was the best movie this year. New story, new cast in a new direction.

Hmm... Ties to the first game and Juno. So how did this guy live? Kinda played on the death, rise, death, rise thing. I hope they do something with it, but its a dead end. Vader lives to the time of Luke. This guy has no future. Its a game blowing things up, being a misfit kinda thing. Meh... May buy it cause it says Lucas. Really, we all do it anyway.

Oh yea... Battery life. how long do they last?

Expalin the "run a partition" bit. How is this both a PC and a Mac? I can game on this? I dont buy the "no Virus for Mac" either. Not that I am knocking ya bro, but with all things computer there are Virus's that attack a Mac. My last collage course on user interfaces had a section to it on that. To date I have had 2 malware attacks on my PC. I do not run anti-virus on my PC's, never will. There resorce hogs. Hate them. I run a simple program from Uniblue called Power suite and I have no problems. I do not fileshare, do not use Facebook or Myspace anymore for they are loaded with crud now. The only 2 times I got a virus was on limewire and facebook. I am just a careful surfer. So the Mac is a good un huh... Ok.. Has any one used Open Office?

So I head off to work on Friday... My boss asks if I want to buy his Mac. Man... Back story. Almost three years ago now, I needed a new computer. I loved the look of the Mac, felt pretty lazy and had money. I to this point had always just built my PC's. SO I poped for a 2000 dollar Mac Mini. Fully loaded at the time with OSX, new at the time, and the last chip Apple did before the Intel merge. I never really liked it out of the box, the mouse and such just felt wonky. I ended up building a PC anyway. I did load every single CD I own on it. Then the thing went loopy, tried to sell it, tried to trade it.. but in the end it needs new ram. 3 beeps of death. Basicly its a big useless iPod. So far my apple experance is not a great one. I have heard that the Mac Book is great. That apple is better product now. Its sleek, sitting here looking at it I like it. However... Is this a Better computer than what I have rotting in a box taking up space utterly worthless? Is this thing going to leave me high and dry? I need a laptop for school. Most of the world is PC. Can I be productive on this thing? I have read reviews that Office sucks on Mac. Pure cost wise I would be an Idiot not to buy it, a quick search on the net confirmed that. I paid less than a quarter what its worth. So I have it. The question is do I keep it. I need a laptop, but not a turd of one. 2.8GHz Intel Duo Core 6mb Level 2 cashe 4 Gig 1066 DDR3 SDRAM 500 GB 5400 HD 15.4 LCD 9400m Gforce OSX and iLife Fully loaded. Thoughts?

I dont think so... It looks like an older Marco. Hell, this may be a fan sculpt. Ears are not even. FX are. Dome is pinched... and the back of the lid is ultra wonky. Why rework like that? I am leaning not FX and not recast...

Good question. Last I knew not to many makers of Bubbles. Green is the color you seek.

I will (crosses fingers) be done in about two weeks. Said that before, but really.. I need to get er done. Been sitting on the box for too long. All I have left is arms and legs. -
Dont hurt that bad... Its addictive.. look out. Move to Asia... depending on where you go its cleaner and cheaper.

I would imiagine that is as close to the movie costume anyone will ever get. Pretty sure that is the Fett the guys on The Dented Helmet gave him. Full tilt boogie. And wicked cool.

My TM Armour New ESB Pics
Runnriottt replied to firebladejedi's topic in Build Threads Requireing Maintenance
New Desk top. Great shot. Not bad. Seen better.... <_< Kidding! Dude, all your builds rock! -
I do... I have an older Trik Toys unit with 3 switches. One PTT, one blaster fire and one option switch. Dont think he makes them any more. I have an inner glove that I crudely sewed in the buttons. ---------- I also run a Vortex in my Vader and that is PTT. I run the wire down the sleeve into the glove. I use banker finger tips to hold the button in place. It adds complexity to suit up, but it works well.

94/95? Man.. the forearms, Chest, Back, Ab, Kidney and Butt look like the ROTJ TE line up. It even has RODJ hands. The parts are matched, but that may be for its early stages. Might even be an Oakley, although I have never seen one. If that's a custom full on sculpt, that is a bad an impolite person one. Almost as accurate as a current suit more or less. TM mentioned the Don Post statue, and that may be. I have a bud with one, I am going to check it out. TM has a habit of being right. The Inner of all the arms look to be very basic. That is the main diff I see.
-
Yep. ESB. The only way to troop...
-
So is this a guessing game? Matched parts on the legs, correctly sized chest and back with a split butt plate. The forearms are matched and the insides sculpted. Same with the biceps. Matched with a sculpted inner. Looks to be styrene. Untrimmed... Early AP/GF. My .02

First set of armor questions
Runnriottt replied to SapaWanmdi's topic in Hard Armor (General Discussion)
Tastes Great! Less Filling! Yea. Trooper armor opinions vary. It really boils down to how good of a model builder you are. I thrashed a TE2 set cause I got impatient. I am dragging my feet on a TM set so I don't mess it up. Built 2 sets of FX in less time than my TM helmet. Really budget, skill and patience is the key to a great trooper. AP is a nice set, some day I want to but one together. Dig up Stukatroopers old build. TOP Notch. He explains the ups and downs of the AP. Take a look at his TM build as well. Welcome to trooping. Remember, Its your suit. What ever you buy, FX, AP, TM, TE2, TE derived... Just make it yours and troop the hell out of it. Make kids smile. -
Pauldrons for $25 - and they look great!
Runnriottt replied to Daetrin's topic in Boots, Soft Parts, and other Accessories
Font, wording style and background all look like Sith Armor. Maybe he is revamping? -
Also to be noted is that Pugman's blaster is a promo... If I recall right, not seen on screen. Cool as all get out though. I have one!
-
I asked for one on the RPF, but Ill add in here as well. I would love a signed copy. Thank you for allowing us to have a shot at one. Very very cool. You sculpted my hero...
