  1. 2 away! who will be EIB # 200? i was thinking of somthing special for this a special certificate perhaps?
  2. WOW! that was one speedy fix! i am truly impressed, Approved!! fantastic work trooper! cant wat to see you go for centurion
  3. i am not aware of any changes. the menues are working fine in firefox. perhaps you could try dumping your cache and delete your temp internet files? i have been having issues with my spellcheck on the site. not sure if its my recent upgrade to windows 7 though? but it is working on other sites
  4. could we just eleiminate the HWT all together and change "heavy wepons trooper" to the correct name "imperial shock trooper" ? and re-designate it as a TK:P ?
  5. IMO this is closest match i have been able to find since studying the bluray and archive footage Ford/GM Engine Blue --------
  6. You need 2 in diameter PVC cut to 7" 3/8 in long. its about 4$ for 4' at any hardware store. you will need to cut it to length
  7. here are some trimmed AB detail plates for reference.. you can see in the printout on the left, a screen used AB plate has the flat "return edge" this will also make it easier to glue looks like you trimmed off a bit too much. i would think it would be hard to keep it glued on without some of the flat surface
  8. i used an ATA for my ICN and TKC builds and simply attached the butt/kidney plates with an internal strip of plastic
  9. great work on the fixes! looks like you have everthing set. Approved! congratulations trooper
  10. i got mine from this seller on the bay--------- its comfy and the price is nice
  11. the overall assembly looks good ,, i would note that the scratches (battle damaged blue areas) look a bit unnatural with a majority of the scraches going in one direction (most noticable on the legs) i would recommend filliing in some of the larger white splotches (it looks like you used a liquid mask) with blue and use a fine plastic scraper or lighty scuff with rough sandpaper to make finer, more random scratches.
  12. this looks pretty cheap but looks like it requiers soldering -----------
  13. great guys! keep it up!! 300 for 2012?
  14. looking great Steve! and if you want to go Centurion, Eric gave some really good pointers approved! nice clean build trooper
  15. you will always be the true commander of the FISD
  16. yea, it is BIG trouble if you cut down a barrel.. (i have looked into this) it is actually a felony!! To legally shorten a barrel, you must shorten it to no less than 16 inches and recrown the barrel (you cant just take a hacksaw to it ). If you go shorter than that, you must apply for and get an SBR stamp. SBR is short barrelled rifle. and you need to check local laws as well.. call your local gunsmith and ask about this as i am no expert by any means.. but after talking to my local authorities i just gave up on the idea lol.. also you need to pay a hefty tax to uncle sam before legally making the modifications in the end it would be for too costly and time consuming to do this legally... and you really don't want the ATF knocking on your door
  17. looking good so far! i assume you are planning to go EIB? the trim job looks great!!
