  4. Haha. Just spotted this post. This is mine. I was lucky enough to get hold of this some years ago from a friend that worked at the London film museum. I have had it authenticated at the propstore and Charlie Bailey also confirmed it was one he made for the extra shots in “A New Hope” special edition.

  5. Let's give this a try to see where we're at with the @Deployment Officer Team... Here we are, finally submitted for approval - 3 years, 4 different FOTK suits owned(/sold), from 4 different armor makers, parts from over a dozen vendors, a new house and workshop, and a new baby along the way since I've started. Thanks for looking!

  6. 1) a good guide for assembling the belt (I want to know how far I need to cut it, where to rivet and any general dimensions). Varies from maker to maker 2) is there an approved way to make the thigh pieces wider? Right now getting both sides closed is almost impossible. Maybe a bigger strip in the back? Any photos of such fixes would be greatly appreciated! Larger cover strip on rear may be allowable, check with your GML as it is up to them if they will approve. If it's too big a gap you may need to add some more material to the sides on the rear. Some links in this thread: Third bonus question: for the strips that seem the armor together, is there a specific width they should be? I saw a pic from someone’s post using 15mm but I haven’t seen that written anywhere. Forearms and biceps 15mm Thighs and shin front 20mm Shin rear 25mm

  11. Round off the point on the side of the vocoder Remove any paint from gums: Frown is painted gray and does not leave the teeth area. References, note the small gap of white between teeth and gums

  13. You've got this, Tyler! Just a couple tiny details to address, and it's these fine aspects of a build that set apart troopers as Centurions!

  14. Hi Tyler, Sorry for delaying brother but sometimes work and life catch up with you . Your review is almost finished and just need a couple of final details that were missed in the EIB review but noticed this time by the team and will need you to address . 1. Looking closely to your helmet's ear screws type. According to the CRL for L3 they should be "flat topped and countersunk" Reference Images 2- Your E11 Blaster ammo counter is sitting too low (overlapping the folding stock) Last effort trooper, Almost there !

  16. At least we know the exact material for the wrapping, but again a possibility that the wrapping is also artistic license as long as it resembles the application rather than the positioning. 20 different CRL's for the one costume, an absolute Night trooper mare! See what I did there The complete costumes I've seen on FB posts have all looked pretty awesome, regardless of what armour the person used, some followed a particular seen on screen trooper, others just went for it and WOW! So far the only thing settled on is that 100% they were R1 costumes used, our source from the set confirmed it was between 17 and 20 full sets that were Dremelled, painted, Gold Leafed, and they thought it was funny that they used every costume they could get their hands on. The thought was, so what are they going to do now there are no standard white R1 TK kits left.

  17. Having heard from someone who worked on the suits, they were originally gold leafed, and then switched to gold paint for repairs, so there was plenty of both on screen. However, requiring gold leaf at any level does not sound like a reasonable proposal for hobbyists. I would advocate for an open-ended wording and not specifying the source of the gold color in the CRL. What is the latest status of this CRL?
