  3. Shadow trooper falls under Spec Ops https://databank.501st.com/databank/Costuming:TX_shadow_stormtrooper You can find the CRL here https://databank.501st.com/databank/Costuming:TX_shadow_stormtrooper Yes you could paint white armor black BUT it would be some work and because it would be easily scratched would show white underneath so I wouldn't personally attempt it. Rogue one armor is different version of stormtrooper. R1 CRL here https://databank.501st.com/databank/Costuming:TK_rogue_one Plenty of build threads here on the forums of white stormtroopers that are of a shorter stance than many Plenty of makers supply black armor Each costume has their own detachment, here is the list of 501st CRL's (costume reference library) you may find of help https://databank.501st.com/databank/Costuming:CRLbyname

  4. It's simple..leave the s trim until the end , after you have worn the helmet with neck seal and are happy with its fit. Then remember to cut it half inch too long and force it on , so that its own tension holds it in place . As to your build thread over on the U.K.G forum , no members can comment on your build except your allocated armourer , or other members of the tk armourers team .

  5. Whichever type you find works best, be sure to double over the ends before setting the snaps in the elastic to provide strength in that area.. Constant snapping and unsnapping can cause them to pull through the elastic after a lot of use. Here is a thread that may help: https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/44617-snap-setting-101/

  10. The stars are for each additional EIB Award - 1 star = two EIB. 2 stars = 3 EIB etc

  11. Hi Dan, I have finally started my WIP on the UKG site. I would be grateful if you had a look, it is very simular to my FISD thread. I still have some updating to do on both, but hope to get back on track soon. Cheers, Martyn. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk

  13. Thank you for the review JustJoseph, I really appreciate it. I think I need to give that calf a bath if I'm going to correct the symmetry problem there. Seems no matter what I do it defaults to that position when closed. The belt had popped off it's snap and I really wanted pictures so I just let it be after fighting with it a while. Seems I may have been a millimeter off when I put the snap in the belt and it comes unsnapped easily. Thinking I've seen some folks add a little velcro under there to assist in keeping the belt in place. As for EIB I still need to assemble a blaster that's in a box. Planning an easy build to get a grasp of it then trying a second build to make a more realistic one.

  15. Great work everyone. FYI why does everyone give me an extra N, we were poor and could only afford one N (Glen)

  17. Definitely enamel, Dain. Hopefully you will be aiming for level 3 (Centurion) but even if you aren't, for closer screen accuracy I would highly suggest following the CRL for that requirement which states that the ab-button paint "shall not extend beyond the bottom of the actual raised button". Note on the screen used one below how there is a small space below the painted area. To make painting these areas easier, I suggest using a "filbert" style bush. The rounded end will give you a lot more control.
