Well, my photographer and spotter is totally exhausted being that she's a preschool teacher and they had field day today and she still has to finish off a couple of her kids projects at home. Me being a good husband knows better than to ask for her help right now, cause I'm helping her so we will have to wait for now! Which will only make it sweeter when I do!

Return of the Jedi was my first movie when I was 7 years old. 40 years later I finally fulfilled my dream and I am on the way … becoming a Stormtrooper … yayyy. I am very excited to be part of this great community. I am still working on the details of my RS Propmasters Stormtrooper Stunt Pro Built Suit (ANH) and will be submitting my 501st Legion Member Application next Saturday. And I am really looking forward to meet some great people along the way.

The cut lines looks good to me , for the top return edge, you could leave a little and remove entire of the bottom. Some references for you.

I am 182 cm tall and my legs are a bit longer than my upper body so it is probably a combination of fitment, as I haven't seen any evidence of them being cut short! I will measure and come back to this thread with "the truth" They're supposed to be 15", and TM's is also 15" because measurements were taken from Simon's (RS part owner) Original suit!

Which type of TK are you doing? Return edging depth varies. If you are doing an ANH/ESB here are some pix for the LFL archive to help you: And if you are trying to replicate Luke's Hero TK, then here: See how Luke's bottom of his chest plate does not have a return edge. If you are doing ROTJ style then you would not need a large return edge (if any) because of the rubber gasket edging. If you post some pix of your armor (not all armor is made the same) we can try to help you.

if you want confirmation please post photos of your armor and we'll help. return edges come from a close examination of the original screen shots.
