Okay! Apologies again for the delay, but I'll have to ask you for one more change before proceeding. Per the L2 CRL: Gloves shall be rubber or rubber-like chemical gloves, in black. Yours appear to be nomex gloves, so while they look very comfy for trooping, they'll need to be replaced for your EIB application. If you like, you could also take this opportunity to get some latex hand guards, but that is a Centurion requirement, not EIB, so that would only be if you'd like to get a head start on your Centurion application. Apologies for not spotting this the first time around. You're almost there! Please let me know if I can be of further assistance. Thanks, Sha Sha2 points

GREAT to hear, Jim!! All information is correct, but there are certain things we look for that are not always listed/specifically mentioned there. I have a thread that will help you located here. I keep that thread locked, but always feel free to PM any of us on the D.O. staff if you have questions.1 point

I think it will ultimately make your costume look better. Btw if you’re looking for latex hand guards then Joseph is the man for you.1 point

I honestly did too, which is why it took me so long to get back to you. I had a lot of very confused discussions with present and former DOs. From what I can discern, it used to be an L3 requirement, but I found EIB reviews back to September 2018 quoting them as an EIB requirement, so it must have changed sometime in the last couple of years. To be honest I think it's also somewhat inconsistently enforced at EIB, which probably why it's even more confusing. Thank you for your patience!1 point

You don't have to kit up, Erick, just some photos showing the rubber gloves on your hands with the guards attached. I suggest black elastic bands for now until you get the flexible guards for level 3.1 point

Hi Jim, glad to read you're going for EIB. Yes, The posted CRL is the current one used for application. I would suggest to take a look to the following forum section , so you can see the common issues, corrections and additional photos usually the D.O team ask for. This can assure you a smoothes procces to get the EIB bagge. https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/forum/19-request-expert-infantryman-status/ good luck with your next EIB application. Cheers1 point

Welcome, Chelsea! As Mario mentioned, you can make the straps yourself pretty inexpensively using my Supply List thread. Most of the items for that can be found at craft/hobby or fabric stores. There are a few tutorials I have below, including one on how to make your own straps. My advice would be to start a build thread in the link that was provided above. This way, you can ask all the questions you want to in one place, post photos (we LOVE photos) and show off the build as it progresses! Always feel free to post up any questions you have... we are here to help!1 point

The small ones are good, but the larger sizes have more power to give stronger clamping power. These are the the ones I use: Magnets or here: Magnets1 point

Anything internally fitted will not affect clearance at any level. As long as it can't be seen, and does not alter the external appearance [emoji846] Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk1 point

Ok so I won't be posting any updates through the weekend as I am going to a convention in Stockholm. The nordic garrison should be there so maybe I can ask some questions! Anyway last thing done before leaving tomorrow: Handpainted the rivets (only 8) and all the screws for the bracket system! 44 all in all! Well hopefully it will go well in the capital, so wish me luck!1 point

Hi all, Trigger group and grip ready for install onto receiver tube. Gloss black on grip to resemble rubber. Flat black on other components. Tricky to paint the fine line between black and metallic silver, finally happy with it. Yet to glue the selector switch and trigger guard will sit correctly when installed on reciever. [emoji106] I will need to do some final touches on the receiver tube before installation, stay tuned [emoji1] Sent from my SM-G960W using Tapatalk1 point

Nice job, Art! If there is one thing I could suggest, it would be to raise the cod. As of now, it is sitting a bit low. In looking at the reference pics note that the bottom of the cod sits above the inside thigh openings. Well above them in some cases. Looking forward to seeing the rest of your build!!1 point

I will definitely be looking for these this weekend sometime! I may have to buy multiples though, as my boys will each want one - I'm specifically going to get my saber when they are not with me to avoid buying three of them.1 point

Hi mate, as the Doopydoo`s mag housing is resin and my power cylinder prototype is also plastic, I glued the kit with a litle E-6000 drop. Indeed I used little magnets on my Sterling conversation with my own build full metal power cylinders...1 point
