There are still some issues to be resolved especially with paint details, but I'm pretty happy to present you my blaster. Still don't know if I'll do weathering. It was a fabulous journey and I want to thank you all for your support and advices.2 points

Good luck with your application Brian. Regarding the solo waist belt photo. I suggest either removing it all together or edit it to just show the holster connections. You don't want the unfinished look in your application Secondly though it may not effect the application process it's highly suggested clean up the Vcoder lines, they should be a bit sharper. Here's a reference photo. Great job1 point

Hey Christian in addition to what Dan is recommending you can also remove the ear and try adding additional screws or pop rivets to secure the two halves that are still overlapping, Since the ear will hide this area you can use as many as needed.1 point

Hey buddy, Do you have shots from all angles to let us take a look at the alignment and positioning, please? Initially, it looks like too much has been removed but additional angles would help. :-)1 point

Congratulations on completing this outstanding blaster. During the last years I followed a lot of resin builds. Although this is a totally different kit from aluminum, it was still one of the most interesting builds to watch. Your recent photos are jaw-dropping awesome and emphasize the quality of both, the kit and the builder. No worries about the T-tracks, they do look perfect - just like the rest of this beauty. I would say 'go for it' because it can really bring things to life. But if overdone, it can also mess up a nice build (just to consider this). In case that is not just a joke, I would be more than happy to see that being shared here in another build thread, David. Now onto a very important thing for some of us: Would you mind telling us the weight of the final blaster?1 point

So it’s been a busy couple of months and finally getting back to finishing this thing. Any tips I could get on trimming down the shoulder bells? Ie how much and where? I’m in the process of changing the attachments of the bells to the shoulder straps, so it’s a great time to get them right once and for all.1 point

Congratulations trooper A couple of things you could tweak to really make you stand out, you have a few wrinkles in your grey decals. Grey area on your ears is very large, you could reduce and also straighten the lines on the ear bumps You could also straighten your brow trim, it's a little wonky. Appears you may have gone a little too far with your teeth trimming as well you can see some on the gum (really noticeable from the sides), perhaps add a little abs paste from behind to fill in those over trimmed area. Once again congratulations1 point

Just line up the inside of the knee plate tab like you have done with the outside tab,. Even thought the knee plate will be slightly lopsided. it's totally fine. It's one of those trooper quirks1 point

Hey guys, not trying to resurrect an old thread (yesiamsorry), but my younger son got the same costume handed down from big brother, and won one of this year's costume contests at the Star Wars Days at LegoLand California! Video here: Very exciting, because he beat a kid-sized vacu-formed version! I think the judges liked the scratch-build aspect. :-) My favorite part is that when he was called up, it was necessary for him to do the very same "shuffle" that the original ANH troopers had to do when running, because of costume constraints. :-) A fitting retirement for this costume, as my younger son is also outgrowing it. But it went out on a high note! Bill1 point
