  1. OK folks, As mentioned previously, due to the fact that the CRLs are being updated we will be replacing the models as well to reflect the new changes as each category is completed. In order to clarify some of the requirements, we will be adding additional photos (side views, etc.) to the existing front/back images. Please note that it may take some time to get these photos posted on the 501st site. Just changing the text is quite a job, so thanks for bearing with us. Below are the Troopers who will be the new models for the first round (except ROTJ). They have gone above and beyond with their builds, and their armor expresses their "esprit de corps". On behalf of the entire Staff, I would like to congratulate all 3! 1. ANH Stunt- Wayne Winfield, TK 32945 "Waynocerous" (Centurion) from the UK Garrison 2. ANH Hero- Eric Ho, TK 77520 "Hoda" (Centurion) from the Star Garrison 3. ESB- Arthur Wong, TK 39093 "giskard8" (Centurion) from the Hong Kong Garrison 4. ROTJ- To be announced (awaiting photos).

  2. Thanks Q. Wish it still looked that good but after 18 months of trooping it's in need of some much needed TLC. Need to spend some time fixing up the paintwork. Never ending trooper troubles

  3. Personally speaking I would avoid using magnets if for one reason only, what happens if you're trooping and someone like a child grabs your belt and pulls it down? If you're afraid of drilling holes maybe use industrial strength Velcro. Just a thought. Keep up the great work

  4. So my plan is to go back the weekend of July 4th. IF I do contact me before then. Maybe I can get a group order going and ship everything to you guys in one box. Just a thought

  5. Hello there Sorry for being away for so long but so much going on and only so much time. SPOILER ALERT Managed to get this armour finished in time for the midnight premiere of TLJ but my clearance didn't come through until December 19th 2017. I was TLJ FOTK number 8 in the world. I will get the rest of the build thread completed as I have the full build over on the UKG. I was in so much of a rush to get the armour finished in time for the premiere that the online stuff kinda fell to the dark side. (the only way to go) Since then there has been a smelly filthy Jawa for my wife, the start of a Shoretrooper, many blasters and the beginning of a Clone now. I will try to get this build thread finished soon and get my online presence back up to where it was. See you all soon Bri ps. This is how I trooped the midnight premiere of TLJ with a young friend (with great taste in costumes) Untitled by brian.mcdavid, on Flickr

  8. As I predicted back in April someone has managed to pick up an Anovos TLJ lid at SWGE! They did have to ask if they were in stock and were rewarded for doing so. Tony - you were there on the weekend ... did you ask? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

  9. I would check with your GML (garrison membership liaison) in regards to whether it would be passable as it, personally I would not allow it. To fix the hole you could use ABS paste, here is a how too

  10. I did alot of crowd-control with the riot-Trooper set up but sadly no photos of the first or third day and only a few the second day buuut it was a blast! Using the sheild for high-fives worked out just great. And some photostand-duty with my other set-up. TK on the left is my son, approved youngling. Some cool lights in the arena.

  11. The original screen-used snaps were standard nickel/chrome. That's what you're going to want to use, unless you're talking about the Shadow trooper, perhaps. Standard white armor needs to be silver-toned. Take a look at EIB and Centurion submissions, and you definitely won't see any non-silver snaps.

  12. Basic pic of me. This is the first time in my armour so it isn't fitted exactly. Through more digging on forums (grrrr....) I've found more detail about the issues I mentioned earlier. Like I said, most are easy fixes. PhilBobTheFish, I am happy with the look overall and love the armour. Just one of the little buyers remorse issues. Hey, I have a TK armour and what kid wouldn't be happy!? Allay, Thanks for the reminder of my imgur account. Didn't even think of that. I also will start a build thread. Once again, time has been an issue. Frank 75139, I haven't had the chance to apply yet due to family commitments and battling a wicked cold for a while. Project was put on hold. I am starting up again this weekend doing some adjustments to straps and modifications of the most glaring errors.
