DocDan[TK]
Hi there. I am contemplating purchasing a BSP's FOTK kit from a fellow member. Decided it was time to start looking around here to learn what I may be getting into! I already know about the lack of a return edge on these kits on the yoke so that has me intimidated but will look for some fixes here. Thank you, Daniel ID-39314

TheRascalKing[TK]
Hey and welcome! Anyone know if BSP is still producing? I heard things went south and they're not around, if I remember right. Something to consider when purchasing, if the vendor is no longer active and supporting their armor... If not, great FOTK armor can be had from Imperial Surplus, KB Props, or Jimmiroquai... Good luck with your purchase and build! Research and ask lots of questions

I don't believe BSP is in business anymore. My fellow garrison member has the kit, trimmed and with everything needed (even soft parts) to build. The only thing I am concerned about is creating the return edge on the yoke. Maybe I could source a yoke section from Kevin at Imperial? Last post on Facebook was Dec 2020 I see what you mean about the return edge on the yoke I had an over trimmed clone kit many years ago which had all the returns removed. What I did was cut pieces of ABS plastic to fit the curved areas then glued in place with a 2 pack 5 minute glue, once dry I added some fiberglass and resin behind for some extra strength, then it was just a case of filling up the seam/join with bondo (automotive filler), then sand, prime and paint, it's not too difficult to do so you may be able to save your yoke, could be worth a try.

Yep-that is the issue with the early BSP yokes! (nice work!) Ugh-not sure if I want to even try to build up those return edges on the yoke Imperial said they will sell me one of their yokes so I think I will go that route.
