  1. Put me down for me and my 'Slave Leia' . . . I mean my GF
  2. I just wanted to share that I've been using this stuff on my armor builds for the past 3 years and I love it. Works fast and the bond once cure it strong. I'm currently using it on a build rt now. I've never used ZAP or Zip Kicker but like I said this stuff is fast. I normally hold together or clamp the pieces I am bonding for less than a minute. I apply the solution with an applicator bottle. It has a thin, waterlike consistency. -------- I bought mine at my local TAP Plastics.
  3. ATA w/stunt helmet I also have an AP Hero version helmet
  4. can we get a pic of what you're describing? please
  5. Imagine those that have long hair AND wear glasses have to go through
  6. Its possible. I don't know if they do it but there are sellers who have 'available' items and 'in stock' items. In stock would be ready to ship as soon as you order. Available means they can produce those items for you. Plus for them its gonna take awhile for you to receive them since they are from overseas. Customs, etc.
  7. http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/20347-screen-accurate-vs-reality-accurate/ here's the thread that exists on this topic
  8. https://www.rspropmasters.com/store/stormtrooper/stormtrooper-suits/stormtrooper-fully-finished-kit/ Right at your price range and very movie accurate
  9. Did you make a mistake trimming the ones you have? Its usually a good idea to match the ears with the same make as the helmet.
  10. I went the elastic stirrup method as well for my armor
  11. I wear glasses in my TK helmet and haven't had any problems. I have a normal sized head . . . I think. I wear a size 7 1/8 baseball cap. I have an ATA helmet.
  12. Check out Pandatrooper's AM armor build. It's the best I've seen http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/10434-pandatroopers-am-build-threadam/ Pandatrooper's ANH style thighs (AM armor) http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/13513-anh-thigh-tops-on-am-armor-craziness/?p=163480&hl=thigh%20tops&fromsearch=1#entry163480 various discussions on return edges http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/26358-return-edges/?hl=%2Breturn+%2Bedges#entry332473 http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/24538-thigh-greave-questions/?hl=%2Breturn+%2Bedges http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/18216-return-edges/?hl=return+edges#entry218326 http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/17245-return-edge/?hl=return+edges#entry208902
  13. When I saw the ones in Disney World the helmet traps were actually cut out and replaced with mesh. Obviously for better ventilation in the humid environment of Orlando.
  14. I had a problem with my shin armor rising up towards the tops of my boots. I made elastic stir rups that are attached inside the shin armor and run down around my heels. Or put some velcro at the bottom of the shin armor and at the tops of your boots.
  15. http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/8115-disneyland-disneyworld-stormtroopers/ discussed already
  16. You'd want to leave enought room so that you're comfortable bending at your knee and hips. Most of us TKs have some sort of garter belt system that holds up the thigh armor instead of relying on our own thighs to hold up those pieces.
  17. I've bought several armor kits from Scootch. Great guy to do business with.
  18. If they were 501st most likely they were Southern California Garrison members. The show is filmed in L.A. IMO the TKs had better moves than Billy
