  1. http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/8322-new-idea-for-snap-plate-assembly/ Check out this post of how Pandatrooper handled that situation with the leveling the bottom of the plastic plates.
  2. B grades are great. I noticed that if certain areas of the blasters are soft (not the details but the actual feel of the blaster, almost spongey) that they'll be given a B grade. Hyperfirms are great for trooping with; you don't have to worry about damage if dropped and the blaster won't scratch your armor if bumped against it.
  3. I've reinforced the mic tip area of my helmets with epoxy putty. Drys hard like a rock but able to be drilled through.
  4. Wow, I didn't know the left thigh would end up having that much of a narrow taper at the top.
  5. See this wiring diagram (parallel wiring) http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/6936-looking-for-wiring-diagram-parallel-versus-series-2x-9-volt-wiring/?hl=%2Bparallel+%2Bwiring
  6. I'd use the dremel for the initial removal of teeth plastic then switch to files and or sand paper for the clean up and final touches. Good start though.
  7. This is a great comparison photo. Very helpful. I'm going to replace my ANOVOS trim soon. I don't like the angled corner of the trim.
  8. I'm sure Mr. No Stripes knows the answer Here is his bracket sales thread. There's a couple pics on there too that might answer your question as to which are short and tall http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/20859-accurate-anh-stormtrooper-strapping-brackets-v-20-now-available/page-1?hl=bracket http://mrnostripes.weebly.com/ Tall brackets go on the chest, short ones on the abdomen

  10. If you make a mistake drilling another hole in the plastic you could use some JB Weld epoxy putty on the inside of the helmet and let it cure/harden, then drill into it to have a strong base to secure the tips too. I've done that with my helmets to have a stronger surface to tighten the tips to.
  11. I used to attach velcro to the back of my phone case and then hold the phone under one of my arm armor pieces. Now a days my girlfriend holds my items in the pouches of her Snowtrooper suit.
  12. Its a messed up thing to do but its all about supply and demand and demand is HIGH Honestly I don't see what the big deal is about ANOVOS. Other than the $350 preorder pricing, there are just as good if not better armor sets out there. There's just all this hooplah around it because its the only commercially available armor.
  13. I read how "tall" you are. OK, those cuts probably are necessary to comfortably move in the armor if you did not trim the length of the legs any.
  14. looks good . . . but rushed. Might want to do a light sanding on those edges, you wouldn't want to get your undersuit snagged or ripped.
  15. Like gazmosis said only the teeth should be painted black. From the looks of your picture, some of the frown has black paint also. Don't paint the area between the teeth for ESB
  16. I know that most of us that have the ANOVOS FO suit had to be 501st members to get the suit.
  17. I started with the abdomen. The larger pieces with long surfaces are easier, in my opinion, to trim. 6 built suits experience.
  18. You will not be disappointed. Great choice!
