  1. Stop looking on ebay. Go research the differences in armor. By the time you understand the difference and can pick one that meets your needs, you will have all the info you need to get what you want.
  2. Very nice of you to compile all this info. I can see where having a small laptop at an armor party, but no internet connectivity available would make this extremely useful to have. Love it!
  3. That's quite an achievement. I applaud you sir
  4. I purchased my kit and all the costume parts the same day I received my first credit card... The credit card company called me a few mins later to check if my card had been stolen. Hahaha!

    Lunch!

    cup of noodle...
  6. Nice... it goes to show, that noone should form opinions without knowing all the FACTS. Loved the video.
  7. Happy birthday Peter!

  8. Good job Paul!
  9. It's normal. The ears will make it come together. and once you put the helmet on your head, people won't know its not symmetrical. Enjoy your new lid!
  10. Looks like you could used a bit of trimming of the forearms by your elbow, I see a sharp point that might hurt you ...
  11. Regardless whether accurate or not, the general public sees us pretty much as the same.
  12. Never thought of using velcro to make the holster detachable, nice one Joey!
  13. Nice! Love the Neyo bucket, and the 2 stormtroopers guarding your goodies.

    WH40k?

I love W40K! I do not have the money to spend on the tabletop aspect of it, but I rock on DOW and DOWII.
  15. I've seen varying lengths, but it seems to be around 1 inch from the belt or so.
  16. I prefer a mix of both. Accurate shaped armor without the flaws of having paint falling off the shoes. Ya know what I'm sayin'?
  17. Ebay should never be considered a proper source for "quality items" unless you know the seller is reputable and the product is legit.
  18. The shoulder bells are the pieces of armor that hang off your shoulder, right above the bicept armor
  19. Nice. I have the rom/fx currently set up in my back armor plate. Which speakers did you use? Stomper's?
  20. You did a good job on the armor. I never seen a stormtrooper this skinny. You may want to use foam as Scott suggested above, and use the heatgun to shape some of the parts to look smaller. If you have more money, may I suggest upgrading the helmet to an AP or TE2 helmet? They tend to be one of the smaller accurate helmets (depending on how its constructed). You may also want to upgrade to an accurate sized chest as the FX one is soo big it tend to cover the ab buttons. You could also try trimming the chest a bit. Assuming you have a holster, it looks like your ready for 501st application.
  21. Looks very clean. Any feedback issues?
  22. That sounds like a good idea. Good way to encourage people to contribute in some form or another.
  23. There are many ANH style stromtrooper helmets... That stands for Star Wars: A New Hope" as in the movie. ABS simply tells us what material its made out of. Just with that, I cant tell you how the helmet looks, it will vary depending on who made it...
  24. That looks right. But your right I cant seem to find any of that stuff...
