I like the rework. I thought the original was good too. It’s not gonna be perfect none of them where. I hate how my ammo belt is on my right thigh. I bugged AM for months to get a replacement. I felt like it was the worse thing in the world and people were laughing at me and every time I would say something at a troop everyone was like it’s fine. Ended up getting the replacement and still haven’t changed it. You’ll see a lot of perfect builds on this forum but I’m willing to bet just about everyone has that one thing nobody notices or cares about that ticks them off. That’s the only way I know how to make it. The nail polish remover from what I’ve heard isn’t strong enough acetone. You could give it a try if you need a small amount but I’m not sure if it’ll work for larger batches. Good luck. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

It’s not as hard as you think, it’s all a head game. Measure where you need to cut and cut well before that point. That way it leaves you some room for adjustments and you get the feel of the cut. This isn’t a race you can cut the same piece 10 times to get it down to the exact measurement you need. Just make sure to keep both sides even so it sits nicely. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I did a hooded zip up sweatshirt. Just a basic brand with no labels. Sewed a large 501st patch on the back, my garrison on the left chest and my TK ID on the other. I’m a basic guy so I didn’t need much. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Opinions are just that, opinions... next time you feel like getting on your high horse and talking down to everyone you can take a step back and go somewhere else this isn’t the place for that. Questions were asked and answered, ultimately it’s the buyers decisions to buy what they want. If you read the answers it includes phrases like “looks like” nobody is looking at the armor in person so nobody can be sure, and the maker is a known recaster, nobody made that up. If people want help from us we will help with any armor they buy, but when you ask our opinion we are all gonna be partial to the armor we own or have worked with or know is from a vetted maker. You could have easily gotten on the forum and given your opinion and it would have been accepted well and we would all love to see how you modified it for 501st approval so when others get the armor we can help guide them. Instead you decided to bash a bunch of people who give up time with their families to answer questions about builds to complete strangers. Sadly this seems to be an issue with some people. I’m a firm believer that if you can’t keep up with the demand then don’t sign up for the job. It was originally part of that scene, it’s in the outtakes. In the original story Kylo went to Luke’s room and was like “what’s up dude you got beef with me” that’s the scene it’s from. You probably haven’t seen it cause I’m an uber fan and George Lucas personally gave me a copy. If your interested I’ve ordered a few more sets of Kyle armor, and since the website is now shut down these babies are rare. I’m gonna sell the full Kylo set and a George Lucas autographed copy of the movie for 5k I’ll do $4500 for any 501st member, $4200 to any member that can send me the cash within the next 10 minutes.
