  1. Thigh ammo pack looks super. :-)
  2. If it were me, I’d check out some of the approved RS Centurion applications to check the fitting. As you have RS, you basically can’t get more accurate armour, so with the right positioning you will be able to get screen accurate. Just remember, the originals were not perfect. But, you can replicate the imperfections of the RS/screen used kits. These are certainly not straight, however they are perfectly imperfect (aka, ANH [emoji6])
  3. Lovely job. Great blaster, too. [emoji1303][emoji1303][emoji1303]
  4. Hi Freddy, Overall, that’s really coming on nicely! Nicely fitted to you. I would just throw in a couple of things. Personally, I would want to reduce the size of both ab plate buttons, straighten the helmet brow and replace or amend the thigh ammo pack. The big plate is “okay”, but could be smaller as per screen used. The smaller one, to me, is definitely too big. The brow is an easy fix. How high the brow goes is personal preference, however, getting it straight will look nicer for trooping. The thigh ammo pack looks like it is trimmed too much. The curvature radius looks too big. Here’s a great ref; Personally, I’d probably consider either filling the holes with ABS paste and trying again or sourcing another ammo pack and starting again. With such a good job in your blaster and the rest of the armour, this will stand out (and possibly not clear) as it is. Keep up the good work. :-) Best wishes Dan
  5. VERY nice!!! Looking incredibly screen used. Really nicely weathered. :-)
  6. Love the “joker” grin, (especially at the ‘89 Batman is one of my favourite movies). I’d say the eyes look pretty mean either way. ;-) Again, top job on the weathering and lid work. Amazing! :-)
  7. Super news. Well done, Jenny. :-)
  8. Don’t worry about them rubbing. That’s perfectly normal. :-)
  9. Nice job on your build, Andy. [emoji1303] Just one tiny thing I’d ask and that is, how far are the tube stripes from the cheeks? They’re usually around a pencil [emoji422]️ width from the “cheek”. Best of luck with your approval. [emoji1] Dan
  10. Yowza...looks ACE!!! :-)
  11. Hiya, Personally, to get it a little closer to the originals, I’d consider something like this; This is just my opinion, but it might help get you a little closer to the screen used ammo belts. [emoji1]
  12. That pack looks superb! Great tip on the hair spray, too. (Note to self - ultra strong...) [emoji1303][emoji1]
  13. +1 for not scooping the calves unless you have mobility issues. [emoji1303]
  14. Hiya. Tightening the loose one would look best. Gets them touching the ammo belt. :-)
  15. Wow! Excellent job, Ryan. From the pictures you’ve provided, it looks like a clear shot for basic, probably EIB and with some more detailed photos, not a long way from Centurion. (Might already be there but we’d need more detailed photos for that. :-) Just two small dressing issues for me - easy fix. I’d say, try to rotate the thighs to line up with your shins: And try to line up the closing of the calves a little more: Top job, Ryan. Beautiful armour!! 16. Hehe. Yes, you have the Daniels here to help. [emoji1][emoji1][emoji1]
  17. Haha. Thanks buddy. [emoji6][emoji1303]
  18. Haha. He’s my armour maker so he has lots of spares if he breaks one!! Lol Seriously though, I really like this method. Makes it feasible to kit up with minimal assistance. :-)
  19. Hiya, I wouldn’t worry about reaching them - just leave the whole arm as one piece. Here’s the method I follow for construction and kitting up. This saves on lots of “snapping” when kitting up. [emoji16]
  20. Hi James, Good progress. :-) Regarding the shins, I used E-6000 for mine and they are 7 troops in using the hotdog method. It’s good to be gentle with them, of course, but e6000 is strong and flexible. Regarding the shoulder to bicep, may I ask why you’ve opted for snaps on the inside of the arms? Here’s a popular method, using poppers inside the bell. This allows you to leave the whole arm assembled and just slide your arm into it and means no snaps in the way. The black elastic that you’ve glued to the inside of the bell then just sits over the biceps. No hooks of visible snaps required. Hope that helps a little. :-)
  21. Hiya, Just be careful of the corners. TKUK have been known to overcut the corners of the main belt. Here’s an example of how they should be. Note the 45 degree corners, approx 1cm. It can be made closer to the originals by reducing the overall length of the ammo belt. If you have a picture of yours we can see how it’s been supplied. :-)
  22. Where are you based? Have you tried RWA Creations? (UK). He makes almost any colour under the sun. :-)
  23. Hiya, This is what I followed for the belt, drop boxes and holster attachment. ***Ignore the holster attachment if you’re going ESB*** https://youtu.be/ivNMQMcfaBU Be advised: I believe that TKUK mold the three “buttons” into the belt (annoyingly) rather than three separate parts. As such, I would check out some other TKUK builds to see how others got around this issue. Example of the belt buttons/tabs: Also, I would check with your GML as to whether the pleated belt provided will be clearable. The originals were not pleated. Example picture below of he fabric part of the belt - note that this one is missing the button: Best wishes Dan
