I am at the stage of basically rinse and repeat of primer and sanding. Here's the second coat after wet-sanding.

All righty! First coat of primer down and wet-sanding!! I've actually come love love wet-sanding. Starting to see some shine. As of right now the bucket is sitting with the second coat of primer curing.

Haha, thanks for the reply though! I guessed those lines were where I should cut. Today I hope to finish the last of the shaping and sanding. Possibly even the first coat of primer.

Hmm... Well it is kinda hard to get a voice changer/effect box for that cheap. I have the icomm, but that will run you about 150usd. One thing maybe you should look are the apps available made by some members here on FISD. Looking fantastic! I totally agree with you on this ^^. Too often we can ruin something great by having too many details. Great job!

More work done! Got the lens cut and taped it in to see how it looks.

Well this past week I had been sick, so I didn't accomplish much, but today I finally started to make progress again. Here's the pics. A TON of sanding by hand. And a lot more. Haha, but it is starting to look good. Where do I cut the lens? You can't really see it in that picture but there are little lines that surround where I think the lens will be. Is that true? Cheers!

I totally agree with David. One thing that will help you with this and the rest of your build is to post pictures! This way you can get a lot more accurate guidance and advice.

Just like Brain said, build a normal First Order trooper first, then add on the extra bits. Since the CRL is relatively new, we haven't gotten everything we'd like to see contained in it yet. Cheers!

A good ole pic from a thread. Pauldrons are cool, but... I had some people in my garrison wear some to a troop (they are TKs), they looked coolish, but it ruined the uniformity with the other TKs.

All right, small update. I am just trying to smooth out the seam line. I hope to cutout the eyes tomorrow as well as getting the bar stripes (things) cut out. It's been slooooow going due to a lot of things. :/ But now I have all the paints/primer/sandpaper now.

Be patient. Haha, they told me that they'd ship mine in November (2015), go it in February (2016). it will be here before you know it.

I love this! Accuracy makes me happy. One question though, if we are all striving for accuracy for the pack, I know a lot of y'all love them, but the antenna? That has always puzzled me why that has been included in so many packs. I have never seen an antenna in any of the comics or, where this trooper is based off of, the original Battlefront games. Yep. cut both sides. The fit looks pretty good. If there is any wiggle afterward you can always use some foam to help it fit perfectly to you arms.

I believe many people have used these pauldron, don't take my word for it though! Hopefully a HWT or TD will chime in.

I loved the film! Very subtle things said or shone throughout just made it. Very good Star Wars standalone... haha, totally a prequel to ANH, but boy! What a prequel!

It's just like any other Star Wars movie... Snowtroopers got even less time than the shoretrooper I believe... Haha
