  1. Looks good. Though the left drop box looks as if it over too far. It should line up like the right one just at the edge of the plastic belt. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  2. Congrats and welcome! The shins really should be fitted with your boots and any fittings should be done with your undersuit. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  3. Yeah this is the first time I've heard this about a WTF helmet. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  4. Most use the Anker 1605, but really any personal amplifier will work. Sent from my 5054N using Tapatalk
  5. Not as far as I understand it. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  6. Adding shims Tony. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  7. The rear seam is on the TKBoots as well. I don't see why these wouldn't be Centurion approvable. There could be something I'm missing, but they seem to fit the CRL's. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  8. I would say definitely good for basic even EIB. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  9. Interesting, perhaps they are just included now? Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  10. I just used a regular brush and did a couple of thin coats. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  11. On padding some use the liners, others use foam stars and others like me use the tactical pads. Like these here--------
  12. Firstly the return edge isn't required anywhere. Though tapering the existing return edge down woul be good to prevent scratching, stabbing and tearing up I or your undersuit. The notch I can't recall if it is required, I want to say it is but need to double check the CRL's on it. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  13. I thought they still did. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  14. I can only say it is more expensive in the long run because of repainting, but is actually totally screen accurate. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  15. So from where you have your tape measure in 7.5mm on each and that will give you the combined 15mm for your cover strip. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  16. If you're new to this I would suggest the E-6000 because you will make mistakes like all of us have. The big difference is that CA glue makes it a lot more expensive. Sent from my 5054N using Tapatalk
  17. I just used E-6000 and no problems so far. Sent from my 5054N using Tapatalk
  18. Thanks Glen, I knew they were out there and I've seen submitted photos with them, but never seen a build that used them. Sent from my 5054N using Tapatalk
  19. I cant think of any off the top of my head, but I'm sure some others may know of some. I didn't need to use shims, but if I did I would probably divide the difference in the middle. Though I think most go from the kidney forward to meet the ab. Like I said I'm not familiar with it and I'm sure others will have some links to builds or advice about it. 20. I would say which ever your comfortable with, but the core would be good. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  21. Agreed awesome job and yeah easy approval. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  22. It seems imperial boots is shut down due to the typhoon in asia, but here is their link. https://www.imperialboots.com/# TKBoots have some stock but email them if they appear to have your size to make sure as they are closing up. http://tkboots.com Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  23. Yeah boots are important when fitting the shins, I thought I would need to trim them down, but with the boots they fit just fine. So far as ordering boots go they are done in runs and I'm not sure if there are any going right now though. Now for options I know there is Imperial Boots and I don't think TKBoots are doing them anymore, but they may have some stock left. Check the CRL's on them. I know that a painted Chelsea boot can be used. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
