  1. If you're new to this I would suggest the E-6000 because you will make mistakes like all of us have. The big difference is that CA glue makes it a lot more expensive. Sent from my 5054N using Tapatalk
  2. I just used E-6000 and no problems so far. Sent from my 5054N using Tapatalk
  3. Thanks Glen, I knew they were out there and I've seen submitted photos with them, but never seen a build that used them. Sent from my 5054N using Tapatalk
  4. I cant think of any off the top of my head, but I'm sure some others may know of some. I didn't need to use shims, but if I did I would probably divide the difference in the middle. Though I think most go from the kidney forward to meet the ab. Like I said I'm not familiar with it and I'm sure others will have some links to builds or advice about it. 5. I would say which ever your comfortable with, but the core would be good. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  6. Agreed awesome job and yeah easy approval. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  7. It seems imperial boots is shut down due to the typhoon in asia, but here is their link. https://www.imperialboots.com/# TKBoots have some stock but email them if they appear to have your size to make sure as they are closing up. http://tkboots.com Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  8. Yeah boots are important when fitting the shins, I thought I would need to trim them down, but with the boots they fit just fine. So far as ordering boots go they are done in runs and I'm not sure if there are any going right now though. Now for options I know there is Imperial Boots and I don't think TKBoots are doing them anymore, but they may have some stock left. Check the CRL's on them. I know that a painted Chelsea boot can be used. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  9. Do you have your boots yet? Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  10. No problem, just glad we averted a possible disaster. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  11. Same method as above. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  12. Indeed, you use acetone for making abs paste if that gives an idea for the damage it can do. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  13. Nooooooooo! DO NOT USE ACETONE! It will ear your armor. Your finger or a scrap piece of ABS will do just fine. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  14. Looks good. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  15. Anyone know of a tutorial or guide for making lens brackets? Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  16. Crisis averted I think. Managed to clean it up using just a bit of paper towel or kitchen roll for those across the pond. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  17. I'm gonna try to get them cleaned up a little more and see what happens. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  18. I'd rather not have to, but it it comes to it. What would be great is for someone that has Photoshop skills to lay out the template and put just the slightest bit of a curve on them so they will lay flat. I'm not the guy for it, but somebody should. LOL! I mean if we can get people that can 3-D model something this should be a simple thing. Sent from my 5054N using Tapatalk
  19. This has been my bane all morning and into the afternoon. The more I try to clean it up the worse it seems to be getting. Sent from my 5054N using Tapatalk
  20. Yeah that is a good start off point. Looking forward to seeing your build. I haven't followed one of these yet. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  21. Oh I did that Glen and still had bleed through. However when I went to clean it up it was apparently not dry and smudged everywhere. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  22. Wow, that surprises me, but I'm happy that you are learning something from my build. The DLT-19 is an alternate weapon for TK's, however at some point yeah I think I'll go HWT. For removal of the decals I just used a bit of paint thinner/mineral spirits and a bit of scrubbing. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  23. It is so I would agree that as is it is not approvable. Like Joseph said filling and repainting would be in order. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  24. From what I can see a couple of things stand out. The first is that your shoulder bells are really far out and appear to not be attached. The second is it doesn't look like you have any connection between your cod and butt plate. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
  25. So some clean up is going to be needed and not sure if I need to fill in more of the trap or just thin down the outline. Sent from my VK815 using Tapatalk
