Not sure where this question belongs but figured this would be a good starting point. I have rather long hair and was curious if that is a hindrance with the bucket? Would I be better of cutting it?

Yeah I'm looking into my first build and I am so far just doing recon. Though I keep flopping with classic or new.

So what's the consensus on the new armor? I like the look of it, just wish we could get a better look at it.

I noticed this is a old thread, but I'm still in the info gathering stage right now. What would be a good first set of 501st quality armor to start with? I'm also new to the whole costuming thing in general. I have been seeing that the common set is the AMA armor. Would this be something to start with or is there something else out there? I'm decently mechanically inclined and good at assembly. Thanks in advance and I have registered with my local garrison Cloud City in the PNW. I'm still awaiting approval though.
