You guys have so much knowledge about the stormtroopers. As I read more & more here I find lil discrepencies I've never seen before in the stormtrooper. You guys amaze me
I use this 45gal Rubbermaid tub. I got it at Lowes Hardware for under $30. It holds all my tie pilot gear with room for extra. I'll use the same tub for my TK. But I do need to know what will bae suitable for airline travel as I wanna wear my Tie or Tk at Celb 5

ALRIGHT! Your armor came. It seems everytime I try to get to my TK armor build, I get distracted by another project. I'm ready to beguin & the mailman drops off my wife's Tie Pilot bobdy armor :tie: Well I can't do much work, just waiting on her chestbox to come & she's complete. So guell I'll get started on the TK
Found it at Walmart in the craft section. Picked up some popsicle sticks while I was there, & got the blue painters tape. All good to beguin the long awaited TK build
I was on the reverse end of your problem. I bought a backapck from Japan. It never came, I emailed the seller & he responded once. Asking for more time, saying it was stuck in the post office due to snow. I waited as long as I could before the file date was up. In the end, I filed a claim with Paypal & they refunded me the money I paid. Then the seller begged me to retract my negative feedback because ebay was stoping him from selling. I told him I already filed a claim & Paypal had refunded me my money. He must have felt guilty or was trying to bribe me to retract my negative feedback, because he refunded me the total price I paid too.
Has anyone ever used the "box" in the back plate? Over in the Jolly Roger Sqd. I've seen some of our pilots make a fabric wallet or bag & secure it inside the back plate. :tie:
Glad there was a happy ending to this horrible story. I hate leaving my armor tub unattened. I make frequent trips back to all "secured rooms" during my nonarmor time.
Thanks for the info. Michales has a Walmart in the next lot over. Will check there 1st. I was so close. I was in the craft section of Walmart looking for popsicle sticks, not the glue.
My friend gave me some rubber/mesh gloves from Harbor Freight. The top of the glove is dipped in rubber & the bottom has a black mesh like material. The mesh is thick enough to look like a solid black glove. They are form fitting & almost second skin. With the mesh palm they are super cool & breath. The bad thing they do not look like they will last many troops. The good thing I think they were under $4 a pair. I'll post pics if any one wants to see what they look like.
Those look ok to me, but they might be a lil hot in summer troops. Man I remeber having a pair of skin tight leather gloves that would have worked perfectly for my TK. But I let the kids use them one day when it was cold. Never seen them again.
Thanks for the link. I can't belive they are so cheap. Im gonna order a size 9 & 10. Wanna make sure I get the best fit, seeing I wear a 9 1/2 work boot & a 10 running shoe. Also I like their pauldrons. I'll pick up the orange too.
Ok, stupid question, Where do I get E6000 glue? I went to Lowes, Home Depot, & Walmart. No one knew what I was talking about. Closest thing I found was a Marine Adhesive 5200. Its getting late, so I'll try Michaels tomorrow.
Thanks Panda,
I have a Lowes at the end of my street. Pics always make for a better understanding. Is this stuff thick? How should I apply it? Small bead or dabs & spread on both sides? I'm off to Lowes right now for some & I might as well get some more blue painters tape. I can't find mine.
I heard alot about this E6000 glue. Is this a Brand Name or is it a certain kind of glue? Will the package say E6000 on it? As for my theighs I need to make shims for those too. A few years of teaching karate gave me some nice legs or so my wife says
