  1. I have an issue with GMLs expecting Centurion level requirements at basic. I know other garrisons that have that problem and it's a bit disturbing. I believe it's unrealistic and takes away from those who just want to do charity work or have fun. There needs to be a balance, what that is is debatable.
  2. Back to the tube stripes. Most of have seen a micrometer used to measure the split rivet distance but has anyone seen or has an actual measurement for the tube stripe distance? If so let's see it or we need to remove any numbers. I with Germain on the elbows we really need some wordage there.
  3. Looking good Drew. If I were a GLM looking to give you 501st approval I would suggest reducing the gap between the shoulder bells an shoulder plates. Also you need to pull up your thighs. Can you do this of will it require some armor alterations? Just a couple suggestions to start. BTW I'm gong to move this post to the "Pre approval" section.
  4. OMG! hahahahaha I love this group
  5. So do we have a general consensus regarding CRL updates?
  6. Looking good Dave
  7. My thoughts exactly
  8. Which one you doing first TK or HWT?
  9. Awesome news Kalani, congratulations We'll be seeing you at L2 and L3 I suspect
  10. Sorry for the late. Here's my 2 cents. We have never used exact measurements for anything so I would encourage throwing out the idea. Regarding the brow, merely stating "there should be a visible gap between the upper eye lid and brow trim but no more than a pencil in width" should be sufficient. This enforces the gap theory but also allows for slight variations. L3 btw Ear angle. Since I'm the responsible party for bringing this to the forefront of level requirement I am all for it however, as mentioned already I'm not sure it's possible with all armors hence the reason I never insisted we add it to the CRL. I stick by my thought as "highly suggested" at L3. I like Germain's idea regarding the no elbo gap also, though again I'm not sure this would be possible with all troopers. I've always called for "minimal gap between the bicep and forearm" and in my opinion only the wording should state that. L3 We already have a minimal gap policy at the shoulders for L3 so maybe changing it to "minimal gap between shoulder bells and shoulder, back & chest plates". "D" rings have gotten completely out of control so agreeing with Joseph here stating "the "D" ring should resemble the original Sterling in size and shape", or something similar. L3
  11. We'll be here when you're ready Garrett
  12. Sorry for the confusion Lorelei, Paul is correct regarding which shin the sniper knee is to be mounted to, forgive me for not catching that I was solely focused on the knee only. Regarding the knee itself, the left shin inner will not line up with the edge of the sniper knee as seen in the provided screen shots above. Unless Tyrell (ATA) has changed his process the knee has a flared edge at the corner, the area in question. For the knee to look correct the flare will need to be trimmed off. Trimming the flare leaves the area in question a bit short of where it should be. The only reason I know this is I have an ATA and had the exact same concern and ordered a 2nd knee thinking somehow I'd messed up the first, nope, same problem. Hope this helps
  13. Check with RS, TM or AP. In North America ATA, RT-Mod, AM, Trooper Bay
  14. @ Basic that's up to your GTML but doubt it. @ L2 Again, no problem but you will be requested to correct it @ L3 Corrected before approval
  15. The ATA sniper knee, even a replacement will NOT line up on the right side, they're made small, just an FYI. The left side should be close. That said, we have several ATA L3 badge holders with imperfect sniper knees. Though Daniel is correct in pointing out they should be aligned with the return edge you will not be held to that standard because the manufacturer didn't make them big enough.
  16. Looking good A.J.
  17. Looks like Cricket has got it covered, thanks Christine
  18. Yes the #10 are big but you'll never see them if installed correctly, so do forget to off set them Merry Christmas to you as well.
  19. Right!? If my pocket was only a little deeper
  20. Merry Christmas to all. We can only hope Anovos does the right thing and satisfy it's customers.
  21. Lorelei looking back at your male snap plate placement. Something to keep in mind, the more space you have between snap mounts (between sections) generally leads to these sections overlapping one another just standing there or during troops. This is a very common concern we see at EIB and Centurion where overlapping is not allowed. IF... you should run into this problem later reducing this space will be your solution. Keep up the good work
