Nice work as usual Shawn. I personally would thin out the return edge thickness at the wrist side. Besides the upper and lower sections the general thickness of the movie armor is about 1/8". I can supply a photo if you need one.
Hey Christian looking good brother. Honestly it's hard to give you any feedback until you have strapping installed to hold areas in place, kind of like looking at a rough draft. Keep up the great work.

Edit: A lot less messy than soap and water set up IMHO
Bring a pot of water to a boil
Once boiling reduce to a simmer
Dip or submerge item for 30-45 seconds. Note: the thicker the armor the longer the duration of dip.
Remove
Hold in desired shape while running under cold water for 30+ seconds
Repeat if necessary
And for the love of all things Star Wars please where heat and water resistant gloves
The Anovos kit which is similar to RS is roughly 4" at the ends (below the arm pit) and roughly 20" from one side to the other across the chest. That said not all armors have those dimensions. Don't let the numbers discourage you, they may not be the same as your armor which is ok.
It looks like a studio/ad photo. Do you actually have or know someone that has the new, latest bucket in hand? If so can you post more photos please, from all sides. I curious to see what else may have changed compared to the TFA
