  1. Welcome to your Centurion review Jeff, lets get to it!! CRL and Centurion Application Requirements: All the required photos have been posted. Your armor contains all the necessary requirements needed to earn the Centurion badge. Congratulations!! Other-Armor Assembly: Short and sweet, with nothing more to add. Everything is in order good sir, once again congratulations Centurion, continue to make your garrison proud.
  2. Hey Anzo, thanks for submitting an application for EI, lets have a look at your armor!! CRL and EIB Application Requirements: All submission photos have been posted. Your armor displays all the necessary elements to qualify for EIB. Welcome to Expert Infantry trooper! Other-Armor Fit/Assembly: In this section, we review suggestions made by your fellow troopers and our own observations. All go towards improving the final look of your armor. If there is anything that would affect a future Centurion application it will be mentioned in that section at the bottom. Thank you Aaron for the little upgrades that make a big difference to the final look of your armor. You have done a fantastic job on this build. Tony and I are impressed with the caliber of quality builds that are passing over our desk tops in recent months, yours is no exception. The overall fit and your attention to detail is excellent, with only a few very minor things to keep an eye on. Shoulder Bell fitment: Although your shoulder bells are correctly attached, and I can tell they would be touching the bridges, they are pulling the white elastic out from underneath them. Perhaps rotate the bells forward a touch to close up the gap and reduce the amount of under suit showing. Back to Kidney plate connection: Also perhaps shortening the straps between your back and kidney plate will stop this area from opening up as it has in some of your photos. Sniper plate catching: Just watch that your sniper plate doesn't get caught under the thigh. A piece of foam placed in the rear of the thigh armor will pull it back out of the way and prevent it catching. Alternatively you could wear your thighs a bit higher so they are positioned out of the way of the plate. Blaster: With such great armor, I believe some minor weathering would really bring that E11 to life, remember, less is more when it comes to weathering. Centurion Suggestions: The ultimate accuracy of Centurion is up to the Trooper. We do try and highlight as much as possible, anything that would affect a future application, but we both find it hard to find things out of place.
  3. I fixed the title for you Aaron, we are looking at your armor as I type this. Please stand by.
  4. Hey Jaren!!, welcome to your EI review, time to take a look. CRL and EIB Application Requirements: All requested photos are present and your armor meets all the requirements set out for EI, with that we would like to congratulate you on achieving Expert Infantry rank!! Great job Jaren. Other-Armor Fit/Assembly: In this section we discuss observations made by your fellow troopers, as well as our own. Not much to find fault with as this is another quality build, we thank you for keeping it easy for us. All we have is a few strap adjustments to get you looking your best . Shoulder Bells: This one comes up very consistently, so for the benefit of others that may be reading this review, and considering the higher levels of EI and Centurion, I am going to state it here. Tony and myself like to see the top of the shoulder bell virtually if not touching the plastic shoulder bridges, as they are in the movie. For you Jaren, its an easy fix of shortening the top straps. It also helps to close up the gap between the bell and the front of the chest plate, otherwise try to also rotate them a little more forward so there is less black area showing. Centurion Suggestions: This section is where we prepare you for Centurion. We do try to pick up on as much as possible to help get you underway. You are looking pretty sharp, so all we have for you is to paint the Knee pack attachment rivets white. Make sure you include a clear shot of the kidney notches, and all other photos as per the check list You should be very proud of this lovely build and so will your fellow troopers be, to have you marching with them. Again we congratulate you sir, please report for duty
  5. Here's one for you Jaren, scratch the white paint off your cod rivet A handy hint from your friendly neighborhood DO's
  6. Great idea, just be mindful, that cheap Li ion batteries are unreliable and have been known to just catch fire. Avoid the cheaply Chinese versions. When they catch fire they accelerate to an extreme temp very rapidly, and that is not what you need to happen while wearing a helmet. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

    Rogue One

They even stuffed with the thermal Det, what is the practical change for range of movement with that. I am super excited for the movie, but at the same time disappointed that they are not utilising a more original form of the TK armour. End of the day, it's still Star Wars and we all love that. 8. Yep, they have bone it before and looks like they may do it again and again. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  9. Thanks for the update on the photos, will be with you soon.
  10. Hey Dave, just want to let you know the cocking bolt is mounted backwards on your E 11. Should curve the other way.
  11. Hey Jaren, looking good, we will be with you as soon as possible. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  12. Nice build brother, we will be with you as soon as we can. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  13. This has probably already been mentioned by one of you eagle eyed troopers, but looks like no secrets holding the ears on, and what's with the rivet holding the thigh ammo pack on . It's in the thig he about an inch or so above the ridge where the OT TK is mounted Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  14. Hey there, Gary! Thank you for your application to Expert Infantry. Let's take look at your armor!! CRL and EIB Application Requirements: All required photos are present and your armor meets all criteria for Level certification. With that we would like to congratulate and welcome you to the Expert Infantry rank. Other-Armor Fit/Assembly: This section is where I will summarize observations of both ourselves and your fellow troopers. If any upgrades are suggested, they go toward the best final look of your armor. If these changes affect any application, I will list that separate above or below this section. Aside from a couple of minor tweaks, that you are already attending too, plus those shoulder bridges which we will elaborate on in the section below, you have a nice and tidy build, you cant go past an AP kit well constructed. Centurion Suggestions: Ok on to those shoulder bridges. They do stick up quite aways off you back plate, so the simplest way to re bend them is by adding some heat. You have two options here. 1. Heat gun, but be very cautions if you choose to use one of these as they are unforgiving if you over heat the ABS. 2. Hot water bath. This is far gentler, but will take more time to bend a better curve. You will need to fill a deep pot with water and bring it to the boil.Take it off the stove and wit until it boils no more, then immerse the bridge into the water and hold it in there for a couple of minutes. When you take it out , hold it in a better arc, and then run it under cold water to try and fix the ABS. You may need to repeat this sequence a couple of times for each side. We think if you attend to the above suggestion, you are a prime candidate for Centurion. Follow the photo reference guide and add all appropriate images, make sure your armor is balanced and no gaps where there shouldn't be, then you will make the cut. Again, congratulations Trooper
  15. G'day Charles, welcome to your Centurion review. CRL and Centurion Application Requirements: Thank you for such a complete application. Your armor has all required elements for Centurion and with that, I would like to congratulate and welcome you to Centurion!!! Other-Armor Fit/Assembly: Thanks for making our job easy, you can know walk proud as a Centurion level TK for Legion and Empire. Get out their and show off you beautiful armor, I personally would be proud to troop next to you. Once again, Congratulations!!
  16. Sorry Gary, we also need a close up shot of the front of your helmet showing the Hovi mic detail. RThanks for your patience, we are going through your application now.
  17. Hello Conrad, welcome to your review and thankyou for applying, lets get cracking!! CRL and EIB Application Requirements: All photos are present and your armor represents all necessary elements to qualify for EIB. With that we'd like to congratulate you on your new "Expert Infantryman" status!! Other-Armor Fit/Assembly: Another quality build we have here, your fellow troopers have certainly noticed as per the great comments in your application thread. It is always a pleasure for Tony and myself to review a nice clean application, so thank you. There was one comment regarding your biceps that we agree on as they do look too big for you. Maybe you have big guns and this is the reason but as a rule of thumb, they should fit snug to you when flexing the bicep. The base of the bicep armor should start at or similar to the width of the top of your forearm armor, and follow that taper line. The wrist end of your forearms also looks very large. It should be a squeeze to get your hands through and have a gradual taper up to the elbow end. Image for comparison. Centurion Suggestions: We do our best to spot things here, but the ultimate Centurion accuracy is up to the trooper. The job you have done on your blaster is good, but it will need to be replaced with a more authentic one for centurion. You have also done a great patching job of the Anovos belt, looks like you have added a new layer to it to cover over the rivets, but the ruling on these belts is also replacement for Centurion. Although your biceps and forearms are assembled correctly, we really would like to see them more size proportionate to the rest of your beautiful build. The front cover strip is hard to see in the image above but it looks either far too wide (should be 15mm), or its the excessive amount of ridge exposed under it that makes it look so big. With a build like yours, you will easily smash these few requested mods and replacements mentioned above. Again, congratulations on achieving EI, and we can hardly wait to see a Centurion application from you. Troop with pride good Sir
  18. Hi Gary, can you please post an end shot of youe E11 showing the D ring. We know its not on the photo guide but we are endeavoring to have that changed. Thank you, and we will be with you shortly.
  19. We all love your action shot, but can you also please include a standard action shot in your application for the 501st records, as when yours is photo shopped into the framework and background, well it just doesn't fit.
  20. Welcome back!! CRL and Centurion Application Requirements: All required photos are posted and your armor meets all the criteria for Centurion level. With that said we would like to congratulate you and welcome you to the ranks! Thank you for doing such a great job correcting the rivet positions, your ABS paste work is barely noticeable, very well done. Once again congratulations Trooper!
  21. Already have a 1080p Blu Ray version and have been pouring over it . Have noticed that the TK's manning the guns in the trench scene, look to have a black hip pouch of some description. Have only viewed it on my PC monitor but will be watching it again over the weekend on my 50" Plasma Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  22. We will be with you shortly Steve, but you are looking good.
