  4. This is coming along nicely, it’s great to see you using the E11 reference section, I know the guys put a stack of work into it. Also think it’s great you are doing a breakdown version as opposed to a one piece design, understandably it takes longer but it will be so much worth it for anyone who prints and assembled one. Keep the updates coming and thank you for sharing with the FISD community. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  10. Love the smell of E6000 in the morning!! Well not really it’s pretty potent stuff but great progress on your build. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. The choice is certainly yours on how high you wish to go. One thing I can say is, it will be a little easier to build to Centurion from the outset. It will save you time in the long run, the little extras aren’t very expensive to obtain, and you will have a great sense of pride knowing you went all the way. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Cool, thanks for that, I learnt something new today.
  13. Welcome aboard Josh. It's a lot of fun building a kit, once you made the first few cuts it gets easier and the nervousness will decrease. A good rule to follow is , measure twice, cut once. Ask plenty of questions and the help will flow. Good luck sorting out your photos, if there is one thing we like on FISD it's photos, they help us members give better guidance. Looking forward to your build thread.
  14. Is this for Mimic armour or the real screen used suits?
  15. Looking fantastic!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. No not at all, it’s what FISD is all about mate, we love photos, come on, I thought you would know that!! Lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  18. Congratulations Ryan, welcome to Centurion rank.
  19. That's one possibility, along with the manufacturing process used by the big movie houses. Extrusion molding of parts is prohibitively expensive to most, so vac forming or fiber glass molding or 3D printing is as close as we get. The ability to to use a vast array of materials , flexible and rigid is where the production costumes are at so there is a disparity from the start. Over time some of the makers have improved to get closer in design and measurements and there is certainly an abundance of reference material in screen shots and actual images of screen used armour in parts and from every angle, the rest I guess is up to the individual makers interpretation.
  20. Could be anything or nothing. LEGO has released figures before that never saw screen time. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
