  1. AP or TE2 - both would fit you very well, and are the best options for someone your size.
  2. I concur - I have this on mine and it really helps. Also, you may want to slide down the shoulder straps. Otherwise I'm not sure what would be amiss. Except...what's keeping you from Elite ;-)

Well, it's a business. The place where I bought my motorcycle from actually ran at a loss. The owner also had an adult movie store next door, and he used the generous profits from that to subsidize his dream of having a motorcycle shop. This was not a Harley shop which explains the low margins. Apparently the margins from owning a Harley dealership are quite large.
  4. My voice mail ran out. Will post more details as I get them.
  5. Looks like Tony will be out of action for a bit, so if you don't get a response from him that's why. I'll try to get an update on when he'll be back online and will add that response to this thread.
  6. Most Army surplus stores have items like this too. I think it's the way to go. My concern with the TD is that they're known to come off. This way there's no mod needed to the armor. I typically tend not to carry my cell phone and just leave it in my bin. In a perfect world, I'd have a slot for it inside my back plate and hook up a blue tooth headset, using one of John Danter's modified ears with a momentary switch to toggle it.
  7. Short answer: nope. They're assigned on a first come first serve basis, as some who apply for membership never finish their costumes, or take a year to do it. This is why the app states that you enter in several choices.
  8. Sure it is. Pretty much anything you want you can pay people to do, e.g. assembly, etc.
  9. Love the hair ;-)
  10. Strapping is cheap and at least stretches a little when you bend. Otherwise, yeah any kind of nylon strapping could work.
  11. I don't think so. I think as long as it's realistic looking, you should be fine.
  12. Hey Terry, I see two records: TK-1488 with an email addy of @comcast.net and trooper1488 with an email addy of @yahoo.com. Are these both you, and which one do you want to keep?
  13. Derrell - you're set. FYI for future reference: I'm only going to accept links to the 501st Legion's membership info as validation of your membership. I have no way of knowing if a garrison, squad, or outpost's information is legit, so links to your unit will not be considered as a valid source of identity. Thanks for your cooperation!
  14. Keep it for your TK for now - you can always dirty it later. Also, my aesthetic is that the bumpy cap and back seem to look better on a TD than the smooth, but it's all good The progress looks great btw FYI the aerators that come with AP are incorrect and you'll have to get new ones from Keith or Stomper.
  15. Kevin/David - all set. Kevin - remind your GWL to post some pix for you.
  16. I turn 40 in May. Who's older?
  17. All set Chris - thanks for adding the link! Hey - your GWL is slackin'!! Let's see some pix of that TK/SL
  18. Wow - it does tremendously as I've never seen a full RT in person to make comparisons with. Funny about the chest - one of my garrison mates switched from FX to RT and it looks much smaller visually. I think it's because looking at the pix side by side the scoop is a lot deeper and with a little trimming you can make it much smaller than the FX.
  19. Actually for overall measurements there's not much delta between makes in terms of length. I've compared FX, TE2, and RT and they're very close on the shins - all about 15" (RT is 15" exact when I just measured mine). Until someone creates a good tutorial (hint) on adding a shim lengthwise, or else better someone creates new shin molds that are an inch or two longer, what we have is what we have.
