Mark has it down! The current FX thighs are massive in diameter and should be trimmed to contour to your legs. Not tapering the bottoms seems to be the #1 mistake people make when trimming them. Removing a bit at a time is certainly the way to go. For holding them up, the old advice used to be to strap them to your ab plate. Lately having a garter belt seems like what everyone is doing. Some people like velcro, but I prefer snaps myself.

At some point it would be great to have their country of original on the pix as well. You know Scott, all I do is crop and resize. It would probably be easier for you to do this, then add anything directly to the .jpg. The file dimensions should be 114 wide by 142 hiegh.

Actually that's an interesting idea - capturing the date each person got theirs...kinda neat to see the growth. Mucho kudos to Scott M. for turning these around so fast

Actually in your submission pix you're using an MR bucket. It's a bit weird in that there is no position on whether or not they are 501st acceptable or not, or whether or not they're OK for Elite. The tea leaves seem to indicate yes for both, but at some point we'll need to figure on an official position. My $.02, I'd let it pass for now unless there is an objection. It looks more accurate than an ANHv2, and these are both 501st & Elite accepted.

Mark has the right of it. As long as it looks OK or has a film reference, it's fine. Perhaps when we have 200 Elite it may be worthwhile tightening up the language, but not now.

None are needed, but many put in fans & vox. I think some have put in FRS radio systems, mp3 players, etc.
