  1. I've already been leid in Hawaii, she was bigger than you. Paddle faster boys...I smell roasting pig and hear ukeleles !
  2. You never see the banjo, you hear them. ...
  3. Are you making a deliverance trooper?
  4. Movie prototype...
  5. They can riot. But when anovos gets a thousand orders for tier one armour kits with no helmets for 800.00 a pop ...all that other stuff will appear very quickly.
  6. 34 by tape or by pant measurement? 34 shouldn't need shims. My by tape measurement was 37 a year ago and didn't need shims.
  7. I've had nothing but excellent support from anovos. They offered to send my alpha helm early so I could have it during chemo, they followed up daily when my alpha suit sat at customs for three weeks because a 0 looked like an O, and responded favourable when I asked to buy damaged parts for a custom suit rather than damage my hood parts. Like any customer service people treat them respect, understand that they didn't FUBAR the armor, and they don't pack the boxes.
  8. Movies out on bluray in 60.
  9. I'll bet in 65 days.
  10. As long as you only see on seam its good. So glue a piece inside each of the ab and kidney parts. Glue the shims in to those pieces and now you have three seams. Abs paste or seam filler when glueing the two that must hide, and rivet and attach as normal in the new middle seam.
  11. Hammer and anvil.
  12. Inner surface could have a more brittle density from cooling faster on the aluminum buck and not slower in air.
  13. You did take the plastic coating off if it as there right?
  14. Brass or nickle is fine. Not painted at crotch. Left side rivets painted white.
  15. Belt should be flat all around not angled downwards. Seems like its pulling everything out of position. And I'm curious ...why all the little white bits along the edges of the suit ?
  16. Look for Javier's rig in the Facebook group. Search it for 'strapping'
  17. It depends on what is shipped and where its shipped from. Electronics from outside Canada is duty free but we usually have to pay hst. Aluminium products have a duty and tax because its like aluminum made from Canadian bauxite ore that was exported. Or they worked a deal with FedEx that included all that in the flat rate we paid.
  18. Ah. I didn't have to pay tax. 350 plus 53 shipping. Same tier 1 for all of Canada I think.
  19. Fine. I'll put it this way: if you're happy with the overall appearance of the armour because you're attempting to duplicate a suit of anh worn armor, then that's awesome. Good job.
  20. There are a lot of edges that would look a lot better trimmed. Cover strips that are longer than the edge of the armour. Gaps on the long edges of cover strips that could be filled in. The white edges around the eyes . it looks like you've left return edges on the ab and glutes that should be trimmed back. Nothing should be there that runs perpendicular to the armour flat on you. Make all the lines nice and clean and it'll look good.
  21. Brett's blasters rock.
  22. I didnt get dinged either. Hopefully I don't get a letter in a week asking for money.
  23. Tier 1 is cheaper. For 187 and 131 and a few days away from Starbucks he could have bought a 350.00 kit.
