  1. Luis This is Trik Toys, they are 100% reliable mate They're not necessarily the best or the cheapest out there for what they offer but they deliver on time and they keep you updated with details of your order. Safe as houses mate
  2. Even more pictures I'd like to say a big, big thank you to Matt for his expert smuggling skills. You are my hero mate.
  3. As many of you know, I do love an E11 blaster , from the Kenner / Hasbro all the way up to a full on Sterling. But one prime example of this fine weapon as always eluded me (mainly because of living in the UK) the Hyperfirm. So after successfully establishing a International imitation firearms smuggling syndicate with the head of a notorious Texas cartel I have finally got my grubby little hands on one of these little beauties. I can see why everyone loves ‘em, they’re well built, have some fantastic detail and you can throw this sucker at the wall and the thing won’t have a dent in it. As always, not content on leaving things as they are, I thought that I’d have a little play around with it to see if I could ‘pep’ it up a little bit without going over the top (I came thisssssssssss close to putting a real scope and counter on it ). So first off I applied some subtle weathering with some antique pewter and vintage gold glaze .Then I added a simple ‘D’ ring, drilled the front barrel out, stuck a strip on the ejector port and painted it. I then changed out the power cylinders and messed around with the scope and pimped it up ‘Billhag’ style…oh yesss . Scope Tricks I wanted to keep it nice and simple and still be able to Troop with it and not worry if it gets bashed about. I know the mods I’ve made are nothing special but I thought that I’d share them so that others may get some ideas and have a play around for themselves. OK, bring on the pictures…….owww, we all love pictures…loads ‘n’ loads of pictures
  4. ------------ Now, how COOL does that look!!...... Colin, Nice one mate
  5. Andreas There's not really a 'Best to use', it really depends on how authentic you want to go, or how confident you are at painting teeeeny-tiny lines, or if you'd like a quick and easy solution to make your life easier The original ANH on screen helmets had all the details hand painted, the traps, tube stripes, frown, chin and ear bars. ESB and ROTJ had stickers (although there have been some original oddities found without ) There's no standard set for 501st or FISD 'Elite' approval regarding stickers/decals or hand painted. The main criteria is that they should be the correct colours for all the detailed areas. Its really all down to personal choice A great happy medium would be to get a set of Mike's - TK-4510 ANH decals as they have been brilliantly designed to emulate the hand painted details found on an original helmet (The Dave M helmet) That way you get the best of both Worlds Check them out here;-, TK-4510 DECALS - ANH I hope this help mate

  15. Nick Looking bloody good mate, really nice set up you have there Sir The only things that I spotted was the corners on your main ammo belt should be cut at an angle and maybe a photo showing your white drop box straps. Fantastic work, well done mate Ohh, PS What ever happened to that wonderful 'Steam Punk' lid?, that was the dogs danglees mate
  16. Jonah Do you mean the 'femme trooper' chest plate like this? If you have no luck over on the RPF you could try here mate http://www.richiesarmor.com/richiesangels.htm I think I remember seeing some build photos on one of the forums where someone used a female mannequin as a base and took a mold of the chest area and adapted that. Also, try over on TDH as I seem to remember someone doing a Fett version a while back. Hope this helps mate
  17. Andy I wouldn't speak to soon mate, I've helped to put a good fair few suits together now and the AP as got to be the most ill fitting out of all of them. Nothing matches up properly and nothing is bloody straight forward with it. Check out Peter's -Stukatroopers tutorial, that man knows his stuff and this suit drove him half crazy This can be a BEE-HATCH and thats no lie Good luck mate
  18. Rolf Its an hard one to nail down 100% because paint fading / aging over the years on the orignals, and also lighting in photos or on film can change the shade as we see it. Ghost - Scott, did a comparison a while ago and the general consensus was that Humbrol #14 looked the closest Heres the link;- http://forum.whitearmor.net/index.php?showtopic=3962&hl= Hope this as helped mate
  19. ....and don't you dare mention what I had to do to help that event become an induction for yous guys me poor ankles will never be the same again

Oh yerh, I also think that the biceps look better low if you have long arms Or you could always use one of these and that would solve your problem in no time
  22. Now that's going to save me a LOT of "cut 'n' paste" - "insert picture" tomfoolery for answering posts Nice one Pete
  23. That's Nathan's (slave1pilot) signiture One cool guy, one cool sig.
  24. Rymond If you get stuck you can get them from here mate ----- Hope this helps
  25. Tom For the TD you can go for Humbrol No.5 Admiral Grey or Testors - 1138 Gray Most seem to be going for the Testers now for their helmets as Humbrol appear to be making their grey much lighter then it used to be Here's a quick reference for the rest of the colours I think the 'Testers' are as follows; Ab Buttons 1772 Model Master - Blue Angel Blue FS15050 Ab Buttons, Frown & traps 1138 Testors - Gray Black Testor No.1747 = Humbrol No.21 Model Master - Gloss Black FS17038 1/2 Oz. Blue Testor No.1511 = Humbrol No.15 Testor No.2715 = Humbrol No.14 (Model Master French Blue) I hope this helps mate
