Aaron Nice catch mate We all have to give in to our dirty side,.....eventually I may have some spare backpack parts lurking around if and when you need them. OK, hands up everbody who may have heard this before..... "But why do you need another helmet, whats wrong with the one you've got?" -
Matt YEEEEE-HARRHHH!!, About bloody time!! Looking good mate, just take your time and don't rush it and you already know that you can't go wrong with following Mike's brilliant builds....the man's a legend Looks like that 'mystery' package will be winging its way over to Texas sooner than I thought

Gentlemen Thank you so much for that illustrious welcome and heart felt congratulations. Honestly, how could anyone refuse the chance to serve the FISD in any capacity when requested? (with or without Paul's 'Hulk Hogan' special arm lock manoeuvre ...which as been band in 43 states by the way ) I consider it an honour and privilege and will endeavour to execute my duties to the best of my abilities. And I'd like to assure everybody that having a title and position of responsibility will not in any way what so ever have any impact on my rather warped sense of humour, or bizarre outlook on life in general. OK, 'nuff said....Lets go to work

Mark Hopefully no one will ever , EVER, feel that they will be 'flamed' for asking a question on the FISD. Big, small, stupid, irritating, or down right bizarre , no matter what the nature is, they are always answered in a civil way mate As the new tag line goes........ Troopers Helping Troopers

Jesper First of all welcome to the FISD, you may want to introduce yourself so that everyone can get to know you over in the introductions section. Second, ESB armour was basically the same as the ANH, so you don't have to change your FX (unless you want to that is ) Most of the subtle changes have been listed in this post so all you would really need to do is apply these to your existing armour and you would be good to go. The only thing that I would recommend would be to upgrade your helmet if you are using an FX. Take a look around on the board and you have a better idea of the alternatives available. Hope this helps mate

Aaron I agree with you mate, there's enough of us watching out and responding to posts to cover most questions thown out there. The trouble with Garrisons refering people solely to detachments without giving a little bit of advice is not all detachments are as active as us over here. There is ALWAYS someone here at any given time but some of the less active sites may go for days before someone gets around to answering the simplest of questions. Arrh, the trials and tribulations of being the best darn detachment in the 501st oooow HARH!!!

Its a shame that all the pubs are 'No Smoking' now, 'coz you could have left it in a boozer over night and that would have done the trick -

TK boots, shiny or matte?
Billhag replied to 2155TK's topic in Boots, Soft Parts, and other Accessories
Luis Caboots are white patent leather style and very shiny -------- Personally, if I was having some made I'd go for the matt -
Luis I use the fuzzy / soft side of heavy duty velcro on the face of the clips and that works a treat I've never had any problems with scratches It sits pretty tight over the canvas belt and I normally ask someone to clip it on for me so that its nice and square. I hope this helps mate
-
Charlie In that case Sir, may I suggest a 'pimpped up' version that will suit your armour to a treat Hope you have a fantastic day mate, and don't let Smokey the bear hog all the lime light

Master Replicas Blaster Mod
Billhag replied to TK-8687's topic in Build Threads Requireing Maintenance
Luis I ask this question around this time last year and the answer is yes, but.....its not very straight forward The stock as been secured to the inside of the front of the barrel vent casing. What you have to do is take the front barrel off, which can be easy or hard depending on how well its been sealed. You need to take the front screws/bolts out and then use these holes to try and twist the front off. I've heard some have just come off with a pair of needle nose plyers and a wee bit of preasure, but others have had to be heated up and the grany knocked out of them before they've worked free .When and if you get the front off, its just a question of getting rid of the gunk holding the stock in place and the stock is good to go. It won't function exacly the same as a Sterling but it does collapse and fold. You will have to also think of a way of securing it in the locked position as there will be nothing to hold it in place anymore. There were a few tutorials on the RPF and Rebel Scum. In one of them the guy completely stripped one down...VERY SCARY I hope this helps -
Tony Congratulations Sir!, I can think of no better person for the job I'd just like to remind all troopers of one of the discriptions listed on Wikipedia for this prestigious position "The Provost Marshal may also be in charge of the execution of punishments."
-
Aaron You will look back on 2009 and think "Bloody Hell!!!" Congratulations mate, you've come along way from just looking at that armour with gritted teeth and determination and eclipsed the goals of many a mere mortal. Well done mate
