When you put snaps on the fabric or elastic, do you still put a hole or do you just punch it through?

I bought two packs of heavier snaps from home depot because i couldn't find the tandy's at michael's. I don't have a pair of snap fliers though. Do you think i should go get a pair or just use the tool it comes with? Also, how are you heating the plastic up?

How do you guys attach the snaps to the pieces of ABS that you glue onto the armor?

I bought some from walmart but they aren't strong enough. Where can i buy some? I've looked around the board but i haven't found any specific stores. I'd prefer not online so i can get them ASAP.

do the caboots really smell that bad that if you wore them to a party everyone would notice?

What is a cheap option for boots? I've got armor and a helmet. I just don't know what to get for boots.

Hey, I've searched around the forum a bit but i can't seem to find any links to where you can actually buy a MRCE. I live in NJ and I was wondering where is the best place to get one. I saw them on amazon.com but it says UK exclusive. Any help?
