  1. Nick Looking bloody good mate, really nice set up you have there Sir The only things that I spotted was the corners on your main ammo belt should be cut at an angle and maybe a photo showing your white drop box straps. Fantastic work, well done mate Ohh, PS What ever happened to that wonderful 'Steam Punk' lid?, that was the dogs danglees mate
  2. Jonah Do you mean the 'femme trooper' chest plate like this? If you have no luck over on the RPF you could try here mate http://www.richiesarmor.com/richiesangels.htm I think I remember seeing some build photos on one of the forums where someone used a female mannequin as a base and took a mold of the chest area and adapted that. Also, try over on TDH as I seem to remember someone doing a Fett version a while back. Hope this helps mate
  3. Andy I wouldn't speak to soon mate, I've helped to put a good fair few suits together now and the AP as got to be the most ill fitting out of all of them. Nothing matches up properly and nothing is bloody straight forward with it. Check out Peter's -Stukatroopers tutorial, that man knows his stuff and this suit drove him half crazy This can be a BEE-HATCH and thats no lie Good luck mate
  4. Rolf Its an hard one to nail down 100% because paint fading / aging over the years on the orignals, and also lighting in photos or on film can change the shade as we see it. Ghost - Scott, did a comparison a while ago and the general consensus was that Humbrol #14 looked the closest Heres the link;- http://forum.whitearmor.net/index.php?showtopic=3962&hl= Hope this as helped mate
  5. ....and don't you dare mention what I had to do to help that event become an induction for yous guys me poor ankles will never be the same again
  6. Stefan Congratulations Sir! You are a man of impeccable taste and more than a worthy addition to the ranks of Elite Well done that man
  7. Aaron Bloody hell!!, I'm away for 5 minutes and crash-bang-wallop, you get cleared, approved and join the ranks of Elite without missing a beat Congratulations mate, well deserved, and very well done Sir!! Oh yerh, I also think that the biceps look better low if you have long arms Or you could always use one of these and that would solve your problem in no time
  8. Now that's going to save me a LOT of "cut 'n' paste" - "insert picture" tomfoolery for answering posts Nice one Pete
  9. That's Nathan's (slave1pilot) signiture One cool guy, one cool sig.
  10. Rymond If you get stuck you can get them from here mate ----- Hope this helps
  11. Tom For the TD you can go for Humbrol No.5 Admiral Grey or Testors - 1138 Gray Most seem to be going for the Testers now for their helmets as Humbrol appear to be making their grey much lighter then it used to be Here's a quick reference for the rest of the colours I think the 'Testers' are as follows; Ab Buttons 1772 Model Master - Blue Angel Blue FS15050 Ab Buttons, Frown & traps 1138 Testors - Gray Black Testor No.1747 = Humbrol No.21 Model Master - Gloss Black FS17038 1/2 Oz. Blue Testor No.1511 = Humbrol No.15 Testor No.2715 = Humbrol No.14 (Model Master French Blue) I hope this helps mate
  12. FBJ all the way, mate Scott TK-1496 posted how he modified his SDS belt over on another thred, might be worth a little look mate to get some ideas. Here's the link;- --------
  13. I'll have a nice cold one waiting for you and Aaron, no worries
  14. Aaron Just don't let him anywhere near your belt..... ..(sorry little joke folks) Colin great job mate, Aaron Niiiiiice Lid
  15. Paul Donny & Marie Special!!!, now you're talking mate A million times better than the Holiday special....you've got to love the 'Femme Troopers' in the german helmets, and what a stroke of genius to cast Kris Kristofferson as Han ....."getting ready 'coz here I come"......pure classic
  16. Colin....you DEE MAN!!! look at that!!, look at it....that Sir is a thing of beauty I doff my cap to you, and bow in appreciation Nicely done
  17. Colin Sorry I opened up this 'can of worms' mate Scott's suggestion sounds like a nice and quick easy mod to make with little fuss or outlay. If you need a reference for size the T M ones are roughly the same size as a 1p coin Hope this helps mate
  18. Colin My apologies mate, it looks like I’ve been over eager with my fastidious and exacting nature. Terrell, Scott and Paul have the final say and it looks like you have the green light once the blaster as been modified. Colin,I very much look forward to welcoming a fellow UKG member to the FISD Elite fold.
  19. Colin You're going to really hate me but I thought that I'd say it before someone else jumps in ith it. Your belt mate, there should be no rivets showing, they should have covers / caps over the top at either end and the center. Sorry mate didn't see them until you posted your update pictures
  20. David Most of the background / Stunt troopers only have 2 rivets holding the holsters Its only the 'Hero' belts that have the 4 rivets, like Lukes. I would think that the straps are all roughly the same length, it looks like the angle of the photo that makes them look shorter in this one
  21. LMAO Garth Congratulations mate, great set up,very nicely done Welcome to the Elite
  22. Mike Sounds bloody good to me I'd be up for 2 sets definitely mate.
  23. sorry mate , our post must of overlapped If you are going to send it back to have the work done then I would say that their new sight, whilst not 100% accurate, should be OK. as it is very similar to the Hyperfirm ANH and that passes Elite standards Personally, I'd go for Aarons and send it on, as its closer to an original, but that's just me....I do love my Sterlings You'll probably have to resubmit the update photos of it but Scott will tell you for sure
  24. Colin No need to buy another blaster mate, with a little bit of tweeking your one will be good to go mate. Nothing wrong with your scope, its the sight at the front that needs to be changed to something more like this this is what you have at the moment which is a rear sight Here you can see what it looks like on a ROTJ blaster If you take Aaron up on his offer for one of hes super-dooper front sights all you need to do is carefully remove your one along with the side 'D' ring and do a little bit of filling and repaint these small areas. Its not to big of a job mate honestly If you need help, please get in touch with me and I'll more then happy talk you through it. Congratulations on your TK by the way
  25. Colin Looking good mate, and congratulations on your clearence, that grin will get bigger when that TK number comes through Welcome to the UKG mate The only thing that I spotted was the blaster detail. ItchyNuts as done a fantastic job, the weathering is incredible BUT... You've got a back site on the front and a 'D' ring on the side/front and that would be a ROTJ detail and not ANH Other than that you're looking pretty darn fine
