  1. I don't know if that would be do-able, but it would be good to shorten the front cover strip so it ends before the bottom ridge:
  2. Looking at the replica topic:
  3. Well... at least it will give you more surface for the glue to hold, and it's still better to have it on the inner side than the outer . Nothing major to me!
  4. Indeed they do fit great! I would love to see the biceps fitting too
  5. Excellent job on that lid ! AP doesn't come with an S-trim (but you should have a second "U" one long enought). Also, it's a good thing to change the mic tips in case your are aiming for EIB as the AP ones are only 501st approvable: - basic AP aerator on the left and more accurate one on the right: Ok i know i shouldn't but... nice cleavage
  6. Awesome news Aaron! Looking forward to it!
  7. No offense to your work but i would choose the DarthChridan's clip pin I like green stuff and that trick for the engraved letters is just genius! You're doing an amazing work, however you did a small and common mistake with your folding stock. You hollowed too much at the top of the notch, you should have left some resin as it is supposed to be 2 differents pieces of the folding stock fitted into each other: Looks like there's a lot of great e-11 build thread these days, keep on like that
  8. Do what you have to do to fit the thighs to you and don't worry, notching the back of the thighs is possible as it's accurate:
  9. So there's no knuckle indentations in fact? They're just made by the own wearer's knuckles pushing/pressing on the latex flashing? That's really interesting! Sounds like another incredible piece of small accuracy discovered Congrats Karin!
  10. It's just me but i would swap your shoulder bells: put the one you have on your right shoulder to the left, and the left one to your right shoulder. I really think it would help closing the shoulder gaps in the front which i find better for screen-accuracy.
  11. i think those pictures are pretty deceiving, maybe due to the assembly, but TM and RS have pretty much the same size: http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/26613-tm-vs-rs-vs-ap/?fromsearch=1
  12. Would be perfect with smaller nuts and screws But the result is already pretty darn cool !
  13. Well, you seem to have the height for using biceps hooks. Here's an example:
  14. It just seems smarter to me to put it at the front but yes, you can put it at the rear
  15. I'd say don't bother too much. Originally they were most probably glued in place very randomly and kept falling, so i don't think there's one accurate counter position.
  16. Drop boxes lining is good ! The breast plate looks fine in heigth, we'll see when the ab plate will be there like you say
  17. Actually, Rust-oleum is the second paint name i've often heard when it's about painting a helmet The s-trim is the rubber thing you put around the helmet neck opening which should have a "s" shape:
  18. I just hate when people with a lot of talent make small mistakes because of a little lake of attention That's why FISD is for: Helping troopers !
  19. I've made a little mathematics, and for the part you're looking for i found: 6,35cm
  20. I've often heard "Krylon paint" when it's about painting a helmet, but a don't know about the accuracy. This thread might be interesting for you to read. I'm sure there are others but i just found this one: http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/3348-move-along-helmet/
  21. You look very talented and it looks like a very good start . However there's a notch only at the end of the cylinder: And also, you do not see-through, there's a smaller tube inside
  22. Print it at 1:1: scale and mesure it with a ruler ?
  23. Well, one of them is from the French Garrison, but the other is from Monaco, which is in the french territory but is an independant Outpost. I know they've just finished the armor in time for the event and as it was an informal one they surely didn't take the time to approved them. But i'm sure they'll do Here are some more pics, please do not repost them ! (i just put the links to not overload and highjack your thread Travis): http://yumephotographe.files.wordpress.com/2014/03/dsc_0473.jpg?w=680&h=1024 http://yumephotographe.files.wordpress.com/2014/03/dsc_0482.jpg?w=950&h=629 http://yumephotographe.files.wordpress.com/2014/03/dsc_0486.jpg?w=950&h=629 http://yumephotographe.files.wordpress.com/2014/03/dsc_0513.jpg?w=680&h=1024 http://yumephotographe.files.wordpress.com/2014/03/dsc_0519.jpg?w=950&h=629 http://yumephotographe.files.wordpress.com/2014/03/dsc_0551.jpg?w=950&h=629 http://yumephotographe.files.wordpress.com/2014/03/dsc_0746.jpg?w=950&h=629
