  1. I hate you, DOs! . Well if I wanted it the other way I guess I shouldn't have declined the job! Anyway Chris (or Eric), i hope you won't have too much difficulty to address this issue.
  2. I'm speechless. They're right to keep the location of this collection secret because I would heist it! I met P. Girod in December, but wish I had known about that collection before so I could ask him few questions...
  3. I managed to break the rear point of my scope rail during a troop. I realized it, only when I felt the whole unit scope rail/hengstler/scope pivoting around the front foot of the rail as I was trying to holster my blaster. Unpleasant surprise!
  4. Do you think it's possible to heat the sides of the shield in order to bend them like they should? Right now it appears to be flat if I'm not mistaken.
  5. I honestly hope our two DOs will rule this just like Gaz did. It seems more logical to me, and it would require quite a tedious job to do if we had to correct the notch dimension on the AP kidney plate in order to achieve centurion.
  6. You can read more about that case in Walter's centurion application: http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/30490-tk-61972-requesting-anh-hero-centurion-status-ne157/
  7. Actually, RS kits come with flexible handguards, and painted chelsea boots already.
  8. You've made a fantastic work with your armor Steve! Especially the way you fitted the armor parts to you. Well done! I can still see a little excess on your forearm return edges though. It should be completely free of any, including at the ridge section with the square indentations:
  9. That is most excellent! Thanks for doing that for us Mark.
  10. Actually I don't see your problem here. You have a molded ridge on the outer half of your thighs. Trim this to your wanted width (should be around 20mm), then glue the inner half of the thigh under this ridge. And you can still fit the size of the thigh by trimming the inner half before gluing it. You don't need a molded ridge on both halves in my opinion.
  11. Superb pictures. Thanks for sharing both of you.
  12. Here's another image. The forearm and biceps pictured are for the right arm.
  13. What?! You don't like posting endless updates trying to keep your files accurate? I can't comprehend...
  14. Helmets look very nice indeed. Thanks for the pictures. Given their condition, I doubt they're originals from ANH/ESB, unless restaured. But if they're helmets produced for the upcoming Rogue film, I think they have done an excellent job.
  15. I haven't read through the whole doc because I'm not a Phasma postulant, but WOA! This is impressive!
  16. Heston, This is kind of gesture from you is definitely comforting my mind into thinking I did right by not overreacting too much. I especially like the fact you're taking the whole FISD community into consideration and not only me. This is really a great from you . Thanks for taking the time to check in here and explain yourself. It's not that much often it arrives.
  17. I love it! CCongrats, this is a perfect piece of collection. Now I just need to do the same with my MGC too. I might ask you some advice down the way one of these days .
  18. ---------------
  19. Where are the high brows? Looks like we're going to be swarmed with low brow helmets only... Yes, but the kidney notch is there! Just kidding I'm sick by just staring at that single back armor...
  20. I'm still storing my armor in the box it came in when I'm not using it! The box is pretty trashed now but, like you say, I've got respect for it
  21. NIce work! I can see small flaws on the white shell, glock frame, visor, end cap and ejecting muzzle, but overall this is a very nice model. Well done.
  22. Little correction here . The difference between the Hero and Stunt regarding the teeth isn't concerning how many of them are cut out as you can actually see a lot of Stunt helmets with only three teeth per side hollowed. The Hero helmets are actually missing the last teeth of the frown because the molds were deteriorated when they were pulled and the details didn't come out. Jimmy, here's some pictures I made few time ago showing the differences between both. Maybe it will help you: And flat lenses for a Hero helmet are allowed for basic 501st approval. But I would suggest using bubble ones as it's part of the thing.
  23. That's indeed the case. However, I have slept on it and when i second think about it, there's not much difference between what he's doing and if one would download my files freely and then send them to someone else for printing, via 3DHubs for example. Given the fact he's not asking a awful lot of money for a complete print (even if I don't know the quality of it), I'm gonna pass on it and not report him.
  24. Yep, that's my design. At least a former version of it. I've been officially recast. Wohoo... Edit: I forgot to leave my opinion on the blaster itself. It's rather a nice piece of blaster Edit 2: At least price isn't indecent.
  25. Yes do it. I need to finalize the chest boxes 3D model I've done but I would really appreciate extra pictures just to confirm (or not) my work.
