  1. Also, adjust the fit of the shoulder bells and biceps. They all need to be rolled forward. And check the position of the hanging ammo boxes as they look to be a little too far in. Your helmet can be easily replaced and most have a quick turnaround time when ordering them. I hope you got a good deal. Welcome to the Troopers In White!
  2. I've used Meguiars Plastx for almost 2 years now and it's awesome. Just rub a small amount in then wipe right off. It works great for both a shiny finish and removing yellowing. One bottle lasted me about a year doing applications about every 3-4 months.
  3. I could only see the left side and thought "It's not too bad...that could be fixed". I then clicked on the photo and instantly cringed and winced!!! EEK! The other side almost made me puke. A Deathtrooper couldn't even make use of that gastly thing. Sorry for your loss.
  4. Your bucket looks good (even if it is ESB!) Great job on those ears too! I agree with the others...shim where your belt will go and remember the top of your belt sits right under the button plate. The chest plate can come down as your bucket will cover a lot. You will have better head movement as well.
  5. In my opinion, your biceps don't look their best and need to be adjusted by taking them up higher. Not sure if they look "loose" as well but definitely need to be raised up under the bells more. The thighs are an easy fix as long as they didn't use plastic welder. With care, you should be able to pop the cover strip off on the backs and trim as needed to give them a better fit. Looks like you have lots of room there to bring them in.
  6. His wait list is the longest but as others have said, shoot him an email about every month or so to check in. That's what I did and he always kept me updated.
  7. Hey Joe, I purchased my E-11 from them and remember it taking a while to get here.
  8. I'm using IE 11 and have been having trouble here for a while now. I can no longer post photos and most things won't open on the first click. Glad my armor was completed over a year ago and now just come here to poke around, keep updated and help others when I can.
  9. From our Fl Garrison CO... "As of now to put it simply Yes we will be called on but DON'T set up any troops at any theaters as those will not be official at this time. We have to wait for LFL/Disney to make their move as most likely it will be a PR event and will want us to staff certain locations. And don't expect hearing what those are anytime soon!" The bottom line is... DON'T PISS OFF THE MOUSE!!!
  10. For a while now I can't seem to get the site to work correctly. It struggles to open and pages and/or threads and won't let me use the top bar when I try to post and include photos. Any thoughts? Even posting this didn't work the first time!
  11. Here you go! I can see the mods already! Have fun boys and girls. http://www.evike.com/products/50076
  12. I use Meguiars PlastX and it works great! I was using it just to polish and clean at first then discovered some yellowing in a few sanded spots. It removed it quickly and I haven't seen any since. A little goes a log way and I've only polished my armor maybe 4 times in a year and a half. I use a dry washcloth to apply and a microfiber cloth to remove.
  13. I couldn't fit my Memorex in my bucket which really stinks but what can I do. The cable to my chest isn't too much of a pain though.
  14. Using your PTT is also good when you're trooping where there is a loud PA or music as any loud noise will trigger your ICOMM's static burst.
  15. Good job! I hate ears! A pain they are. See you out trooping soon.
  16. Thanks Mathias... I forgot to mention he was going for centurion and that's why I was asking.
  17. My soon to be new squadmate (Barcode) is having a cover strip issue with his right rear strip. I'm not sure of the best way to fix it so I thought I'd throw it out there...suggestions?
  18. Thighs and forearms are turned out and need to face forward. Shoulder bells need to come forward as well. Hard to tell the fit with those items on wrong.
  19. I was gonna recommend Photobucket as well...it's what I use.
  20. Anthony, have you joined/spoken to the squad in your area? Chances are you can get help with your build from fellow squadmates and doing so will also save you some serious money. Besides, there's a lot of pride that comes along with doing the build yourself. Ask for help... it's out there everywhere whether it be here or from your local squad. Build threads are a plenty so do lots of research and take your time. I had no clue when I started and am now helping several noobs build their kits. Study, study,study... you can do it!!!
  21. Wow... just read the entire thread. You should be very proud Jeff! Great work! Really cool to see the entire process end with a sweet bucket. Good for you dude!
  22. You're at the biggest pain in a TK build... the dreaded "ear fitting!"
  23. You beat me to it Max but I agree with everything you pointed out. Ty, are you planning to come to the AP at Fritz's house Sunday? If so, we can get you buttoned up and fitted. It's difficult to do so alone and you need that second pair of eyes and hands to adjust and fit properly. Yeah, fix those thighs! I wish you didn't have soooo much gap in your knees (especially your left one) and your right forearm looks really trimmed down and short (nothing you can do now). How is your kidney/butt plate attached to each other? They should fit flush together. Oh and good luck trimming those ears... they SUCK to do!!!
  24. Good luck with your build! Lots of eyes on you! Make sure to take lots of progress pics too!
  25. I agree with what's been posted above. I also have an ATA and there's no way I can wear my glasses. I'm glad I'm not blind and it doesn't matter that I can't wear them. Fans are awesome and worth having for sure. The balaclava works great to keep them in place as several squad members here wear them.
