Mi I have seen it on other makes, I did find on my right arm that it was quite oval compared to the left which was rounded, so all I did to bring it back into round was apply some heat to both sides, didn't take a lot, and while applying the heat I put pressure on the widest part of the oval and pushed gentlye until they returned to a round shape. I know others take off their strips, re-cut and re-glue, but I found the heat and squash worked wonders for mine. Good luck what ever you decide, as I said I have only seen it picked on a couple of times but for me mine just didn't feel right.

Look pretty good from what I have seen, main issues with boots seems to be a front seam and zips and you don't have either, I'd say your good to go, now get painting LOL

Going to make the caps on the detonator able to be taken off, just glued some abs elbows onto the inside of the caps. Going to have elastic glued on one end with some velcro stiched to the end of it, then velcro glued to the other elbow on the cap. Will just need to pull off one cap, remove the velcro then the ends will come off.

Hi Matt I would just try to square the corners of the teeth a little more, have seen that picked on before, eyes looking good just see how they are when you fit your lenses, I wanted mine quite flat inside the lid so I sanded across the back of them with a small block of wood and sandpaper. Keep up the good work

Thanks Jenny, took me a while to paint the edges of the buttons my hands aren't that steady, may have been the beam lol, Admiral sounds much better, oooooow I'm a Commander now LOL. LOL I slipped with my dremel when trimming my teeth on the lid, was looking for a bucket real fast as the feeling in my stomache was not a happy one. Think eveyone has the same feeling with the first scratch, ding, dent. Least I won't be banging my head on a blast door like the trooper in ANH LO.

I have had similar problems with some of my pieces, as I am a bit on the thin side. What worked for me was to glue one side, then once dry I lay the cover stip on the join, clamp and apply some heat to both sides of the piece, then apply some downwards force to the cover strip. This has worked well for me and takes the tension out of the pieces joined. May just add before attempting to heat abs you should have a practice on some off cuts. ABS is easy to heat but there is a danger of heating too much, so if you try this just take your time. Good luck how ever you proceed

If the shim is glued, blended, sanded and polished it can look ok, but I am with you if they are just glued the do look a bit odd, would rather see the black. Just fitted mine and I thought I may have to widen mine as I have indulged in a lot of Christmas spirit of late, seems I will be fine LOL. Looking good keep up the good work

I just rounded the edge on the bottom of my shins just to stop them catching on the boots. Going well keep up the good work

Will look heaps better with the covers moved, keep up the good work, your are going great

Not sure about using screws to attach your button plate, haven't seen that done before. It's your choice and you could still change it later

Was having build seperation anxiety, so did a bit of painting

So I didn't get any answers so I bugged the guru for the answer, which is, the taper sweeps backwards. In the picture below the bell on the left would be the right shoulder and the bell on the right would be the left shoulder

Just on another point I have noticed forearms being picked on of late for being too large at the elbow, its the one on your right side. See how you go, good luck with submission

Just a thought you could fix this by gluing a flat piese of abs to the back of it to take up what is missing. Good luck, remember measure twice cut once

Glad to be of help, troopers helping troopers is the moto. That was a lot of work, well done but, yes theres a but, the flat screws also have a taper so they recess into the plate which makes them flush. It's an entirely personal preference what to use and even what you can find to use, me I'm going for the tapered flat head, but at the start of my build journey I would have settled for rivets. Go with what you are happy with, oh and remember its not permenant you can always change it later.
