  1. Thanks Tony, nice to know I am on the right track
  2. Got some elatic fitted on my arm pieces, having a friend come over on sunday to do a few photos for me as I don't have a large mirror Drop boxes attached and proceeding to dry
  3. Not really, I would still ask the maker of both the blaster and helmet, better be safe than sorry
  4. Depends on how accurate you want to be, for me I would say go with it and well done trooper. Good luck with approval
  5. And two snaps on the rear
  6. Sounds like this could be a common problem
  7. A few more snaps and studs in place, going for double snaps on the shoulders and crotch for extra strength
  8. Damm I just had 2 inches taken out of my legs LMAO
  9. Thinking what ever I use the space for, keys, money to buy icecream for my first troop, or toothbrush to clean death star latrine, I would rap in a little foam first
  10. This looks familiar lol, going well trooper
  11. Seems a bit expensive to me, I would want to know the makers of both before proceeding
  12. Velcro glued on one side of the claves, other side tomorrow
  13. I still have alot to learn, elastic never thought of checking that
  14. TD brackets fitted
  15. Looks good but you know those who love screen accuracy will pick on it for not having that extra material on the sides of you're ab plate. If you're happy then go with it, keep up the good work
  16. Mi I have seen it on other makes, I did find on my right arm that it was quite oval compared to the left which was rounded, so all I did to bring it back into round was apply some heat to both sides, didn't take a lot, and while applying the heat I put pressure on the widest part of the oval and pushed gentlye until they returned to a round shape. I know others take off their strips, re-cut and re-glue, but I found the heat and squash worked wonders for mine. Good luck what ever you decide, as I said I have only seen it picked on a couple of times but for me mine just didn't feel right.
  17. Look pretty good from what I have seen, main issues with boots seems to be a front seam and zips and you don't have either, I'd say your good to go, now get painting LOL
  18. Slow and steady wins the race, just remember every little bit counts, good luck with the build hope you get to the end soon
  19. Going to make the caps on the detonator able to be taken off, just glued some abs elbows onto the inside of the caps. Going to have elastic glued on one end with some velcro stiched to the end of it, then velcro glued to the other elbow on the cap. Will just need to pull off one cap, remove the velcro then the ends will come off.
  20. Hi Matt I would just try to square the corners of the teeth a little more, have seen that picked on before, eyes looking good just see how they are when you fit your lenses, I wanted mine quite flat inside the lid so I sanded across the back of them with a small block of wood and sandpaper. Keep up the good work
  21. Don't know if this is any help to you but here is a couple of links to have a look at showing different versions of the E-11 : http://www.partsofsw.com/e11_a2.htm http://www.partsofsw.com/e11guide.htm
  22. Thanks Jenny, took me a while to paint the edges of the buttons my hands aren't that steady, may have been the beam lol, Admiral sounds much better, oooooow I'm a Commander now LOL. Think we may finish our builds about the same time, you are going great btw. Now go nag that husband for his number Felling a bit more human so glued some inner strips and some more snaps
  23. LOL I slipped with my dremel when trimming my teeth on the lid, was looking for a bucket real fast as the feeling in my stomache was not a happy one. Think eveyone has the same feeling with the first scratch, ding, dent. Least I won't be banging my head on a blast door like the trooper in ANH LO.
  24. Sorry just woke up and head wasn't quite up to speed, I know exactly what you mean now, that would work fine then
