  1. From what I have read there is no set size or type just try to use something shallow so it's not constantly rubbing on the armor. I was thinking about covering the back of the rivet with duct tape or silicon
  2. That's great everyone, will cut down my searching for the basics just need to focus on the fine details now. I have blaster eyes from all the plans, hunting for correct info has been the hardest part and even now I learn new things evertime I go online. Thanks for all the help guys and girls, no don't it won't be the last time I will be picking your brains, still have a TK box of goodness to start on
  3. A few photo's assembled and some details, will keep looking at it today and decied if I am going to weather it or not before I apply a satin clear coat or two
  4. Should have said, can that company costume be approved. Yup been there too lol Link There may be another blaster to build too LOL Link
  5. Thank you, did try to get as much details done as I could, only real part I wasn't happy with was my hand grips, just stalked internet and found a few original sets, not that expensive either start at $30, didn't even think about looking for real ones when I started the build, well you know what they say, you live and learn Grips Grips OMG or you could buy this GUN
  6. Thanks Julie but can they be 501st approved?
  7. Yup I had found that was wondering if I could get the right go to info rather than having to search all the fine details from those who have been down this track before, I know lazy but my blaster builds pretty much wore my brain out
  8. Have a read of this thread http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/5642-modded-rubies-supream-tk-armor/
  9. AS my brown box of TK goodness is on the way and I'm just finishing a fourth blaster build I was thinking of a next build as I have found myself bitten by the bug, as many of you have also, anyway looking at a non helmet costume and thinking of an imperial officer, can any of you throw some info my way, wink wink you know what I mean lol

  18. Got a coat of brown on the butt Also a few bits with black
  19. Now some silver, after it dries I will paint the butt brown to simulate the bakelite look, then paint black over the top and when weathered some brown will be seen
  20. Think I'm not the only one been bitten by the bug LOL
  21. So just heard I may be getting a brown box in the mail soon so best finish this build, hate leaving things half done. So bit more sanding, few more details and now primer. Going to be 34degC here today so paint will dry pretty quick so no doubt silver should be on before the end of the day.
