  1. Looks the part, some nice work there
  2. I had problems with my right bell on my ATA, I managed to put another snap futher forward on my shoulder straps which seemed to fix things. Why not just swap your bells over and see if that makes a difference then you will know if it is the bell or the straps.
  3. About the same as mine, but when you are full kitted up I can't see you doing any weight lifting LOL
  4. Some glues you can just rub with your thumb and they will start to come off, ABS seems to be a little greasy and allthough glues do bond to it sometimes you can just rub it off. If you go for the sanding option the finer the sandpaper you use the easier it will be to buff/polish the ABS back to a nice shine. You could use 400, then 600, then 1200 and use some fine car poslish, novus or T-cut anything like that. Oh just a tip if you use wet and dry sandpaper and water the sandpaper won't clog as quickly good luck.
  5. Nice work, leather dyes work well also
  6. Ebay is EVIL, usually it is from a recaster, thin and not the right colour. Be carefull with purchasing as different makers use different colour materials you may end up with a non matching belt.
  7. 3 sets of Marv's and very happy
  8. LOL half a brain and a mastercard, priceless
  9. Only thing you can do is what you have done, guide them to where they need to be and if they don't want to listen to what you have advised then what more can you do, don't feel bad it is not your fault
  10. Problem is when you first go searching for stormtrooper armor you don't allways find FISD first so you end up at evilbay, you think you are looking at the real thing, costs as much as the real thing, looks like what you had seen in the movies, impulse buy then so proud of yourself you post a picture online someone send you a link then you find FISD or a friend who is in FISD then bang FACEPALM, what the hell did you buy When I searched about 15 years ago evilbay was looking pretty good, what a shame I couldn't afford it at that time Now does that senario sound familiar to any of you out there
  11. Ahhhh yes the torture of the wait, well you have time to collect all the little bits you need ie: snaps, elastic, sandpaper, a dremel and so on. While you have some time have a read of the EIB and Centurion requirements, there is not that much extra work to do just a few different things to purchase and just a bit more accuracy. I found it so much easier to build straight for Centurion standards rather than building and converting to each level. FISD is trying to get to 100 Centurions and would be great if you came on board, have a read and see what you think. Don't forget there are blasters to build too, I got a bit carried away 2 x E11's, 1 x DLT-19 and a T-21, kept my mind off waiting for armor lol Good luck and hope to see a build thread soon.
  12. Good luck Jeremy hopefully this will clinch it for you
  13. Some nice work there, well done
  14. Oh btw after much more reading and learning (you never stop) the screen accurate screws for the TD bracket are black slotted domed screws, looks like I'm changing mine lol
  15. Looking good, just depends how snug your arms are fitting, I tried to put my cover strip right to the ends of the ridges but then I have small arms
  16. Same as my setup
  17. Nice details, couldn't put the tube stripes on the right way around lol
  18. Looking good I would suggest just bringing your thighs up a little, there is quite a lot of room between them and your belt. Foam behind your shin will definately help your gobble problem lol. Now hurry up, stop horsing around and get to approval stage neiggggggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhh lol This must be your brother from another mother lol
  19. They wouldn't make appoval their knee ammo packs are on too high and the curve is on the tops also ab buttons blue too dark LMAO
  20. Shame about that crinkle but great you are getting a replacemet, here is a nice build thread of the TD http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/12561-o2thermal-detonator-help/
  21. Looking good, learn the ways of the heatgun you must LOL, very nice indeed and makes the pieces fit so much better. Just one comment your shoulder straps are they elastic, as they should be hint hint. Keep up the great work you are doing really well
  22. I did like your trimming of the eyes and teeth, some just don't seem to get the teeth trimmed enough in the corners, very nice indeed
  23. You could give the black silicon a try too, worked well for me
  24. I put my gloves on after my forearms, seems pretty easy to me, see how you go think it's just a general preference what ever works for you
